My Skin Care Routine 2017

Welcome to my skincare Routine [the] first step is exfoliation Instead it looks like waxing removing the hair from my cheeks my upper lip and my chin Allows me to remove the hair as well as some dead skin So instead of waxing and then going in [with] an exfoliator a couple days later I wax when I know it's time to remove some dead skin Making note of the areas [that] I've waxed. I'm also going to exfoliate the areas that I haven't waxed later on in this routine Now it's time to cleanse the skin I've come up with this really interesting way of cleansing and I think it has much [more] effective Results than what I was doing before Usually I would rinse my face take my cleanser and apply it to my skin, but I'm doing a dry cleanse method So I'm taking my cleanser applying it to my skin without any water at all I massage the skin as I normally would really focusing on those Congested areas around the nose and chin, and then I massage it all over my face until it's completely absorbed and tacky Now it's going to absorb into the skin as in you're not going to see it It looks like there's absolutely nothing on your skin and your skin will feel slightly sticky Now my theory with this is that because there's no barrier of water the cleanser is going right into the skin and then as you Add the water back in it activates the cleanser and pulls out any impurities along with it My skin feels so much cleaner every time I do this so I've been sticking to this method and it's really cleared up my skin over time Once I cleanse my entire face including my neck I'm going to rinse all of it off with water and then while my skin is Still wet. I'm taking some pure brown sugar and rubbing this into the areas that I didn't exfoliate using the wax Brown sugar is actually an awesome exfoliator. You can use this for your entire face, and it's very inexpensive as well as natural Now the skin is fresh and clean it's time to extract this is completely optional and this step is actually detrimental Sometimes I only do this because I really enjoy it So normally when you warm up the skin this makes it a lot easier [to] push out the blackheads But if you run the risk when you're squeezing out a blackhead pushing the dirt deeper down into your skin So the step isn't always productive, but like I said, I really like doing it Next [it's] time for a mask And I really like his Indian healing clay [I] got it off Amazon The recipe says to mix it with apple Cider vinegar, and this really helped my skin when I had intense breakouts So I like to use it every now and again [to] maintain a clear face [I] Have to let you know [that] [this] is not what I do every single night especially the exfoliating and the mask and de lasting this is something I do when I really need to take care of my skin as for a Regular day all I do is cleanse and moisturize and tone not in that order And I have different routines depending on what [skincare] issues.

I'm [having] at the time [this] one is for acne [I] don't let my mouth dry before I remove them I find my skin feels more hydrated that way, so I'll rinse it off And then it's time to nourish the skin using a toner [I'm] using orange blossom [water], and this is notorious for helping with oily Acne prone skin I get mine in the baking aisle at my grocery store for like three or four dollars The last product I'm going to use is a moisturizer depending on time of day. I'll use some day moisturizer or a night one I'm going to be using my knuckle to get it out of the jar because it's much more sanitary than tipping your fingers and even When your hands are clean? There's micro Bacteria underneath your nails most of the time I rub the moisturizer between my fingers and then I press it onto my skin Once it's all evenly distributed. I start rubbing it in like normal The first and last most important step is to drink alkaline fluoride free water This is the number one thing you can do for your health and for your skin No amount of products is going to give you good skin But drinking water is going to give you clear beautiful skin every single time. [I] hope you enjoyed my skincare routine.

[Thank] you for watching.

My Nighttime Skincare Routine

Hi I'm Darnell Cox with Live Young
lifestyle and today I'm going to go over my nightly skincare routine it is quite
extensive folks I've had the privilege of speaking with the best dermatologist
from around the world and it's a lot different than what is pushed at us with
marketing first of all you do not need to be spending money on face wash this
is FISA derm it's a pH balanced deep clean wash for normal to dry skin every
skin care company will try to sell you a face wash you're washing it off of your
face you do not need to spend a lot of money for that so make sure it just
washes clean now I started I took off my all my eye makeup with this Almay
waterproof eye makeup remover pads I. Love these and the reason is because you
don't need to put your eye makeup remover on one of the other pads you
just use this little thing and because you know over the age of 40 I've spoken
about in some of my previous makeup chair chitchat that you have to be using
waterproof eye makeup so eyeliner mascara all of that needs to be
waterproof because we tend to transfer that with our crepey eyelids or at least
I do and also with all the anti-aging potions that we put on you want to make
sure that your eye makeup sticks I. Always use this clear sonic and just a
simple simple face wash so I'm going to do that now so you guys can really tell
I have no makeup on so I will usually first wash my face
with chips my hands using the FISA term but I then I'd like to go over it to get
a really deep clean with this clear sonic no matter what my day was every
stitch of makeup comes off of my face I. Normally take a shower at night so I'll
wash all the makeup off of my face outside here on the sink and then if you
did not see my youtube video on dry brushing you really need to watch that
because this is a great great anti-aging device and it is so simple helps with
cellulite helps with circulation increases the tone and texture of your
skin and all that every single night then I'll jump in the shower
and most of the products here are not about moisture it is about drying the
skin out I did an interview with dr.

Abadi who I think is the best
dermatologist I've ever interviewed before but he talks a lot about tricking
your skin into producing its own moisture so remember if you're adding a
lot of products on your skin that are moisturizing it from the outside what
you're doing is you're sending signals to those those layers of skin inside
that you have enough moisture and therefore you do not need to make it
yourself and it's not letting your skin behave like it did when it was in his
20s so this first product is by Zoe's skin
health and there are these little tea pads a little bit of a waffle design so
it really gets in there and any makeup that is left it just goes away but you
will also see that there is a drying effect here next this is the growth
factor and I love the design of this because there's no air that touches the
product and a lot of times when products touch oxygen they lose their their
potency this keeps everything really fresh you just do one little pump and it
is like a gel that is good for all skin types it doesn't matter if you have
super super sensitive skin it really Suz I do right up to my eyes even on my
eyelids your entire neck until that's all really absorbed this was bison so
skin health and it's called essential growth factor serum now I move on to the
Big Bang and this is all about retin-a I. Wrote a blog on living lifestyle calm
called retin-a the holy grail to skincare because it is it is the only
thing that has been proven to significantly reduce wrinkles retin-a
was first designed as an acne treatment so again it's something that's supposed
to dry out your skin so this is by xot skin health again this is a 1% it's a
strong stuff I use this with this Miller mix skin lightening and blending cream
so what I would do if I were gonna use this product as I put about it's about
this big and you do the same thing about with the blending cream but you blend it
like this and then it makes it or it will smooth over your face much easier
so I'm not gonna show you this one because this is pretty self-explanatory
you would just blend this all over so I'm gonna wipe this off I also like I
have to say this environ skin is cinchy a is a really strong over-the-counter
retina you need to get this though like in a plastic surgeon's office a lot of
dermatologists sell this go online to environ calm
so the consistency of this is more of a cream so you can blend this by itself a
lot better than some of the thicker retin-a so I'm gonna wipe that off just
because again a self-explanatory just put it all over your face this is what a
prescription retin-a really looks like it's just a you know a white tube with a
label stuck on it and this is a point zero five and this is 0.025 Again I test
my skin out all the time if my skin is like really dry or their Santa Ana winds
I'll go down to the point o2 5 it's still doing something it's still drying
your skin it's still those wrinkles it's still exfoliating
and cell turnover so let me show you how you would use this you put about the
size of a dime on the back of your hand and you would be surprised folks if
you're using the same hand all the time to put the retin-a on before you put it
on your face compare your Pam's after a couple months
and the hand that you use to put the retin-a on to blend it or whatever we'll
end up with a lot less wrinkles so I. Just then take my finger and make little
dots I do not put this on my neck just because your neck does not produce the
same amount of oil as your face does so you know we have sweat glands and
oil-producing glands in certain parts of our body our underarms our feet our
privates our face those will actually secrete oil and our hair which is why
our heritage oily but our neck does not really so if you put the same strength
of retin-a on your neck you're gonna find that it it eats it up like like
battery acid I always rub in a circular motion it
will migrate a little bit so even if you're putting it here along your
jawline I usually put it right along my jawline and underneath the chin once
that's all in and move on to the neck there's three products that I really
love for the neck this is my favorite right now it's by revision skincare it's
called neck to firm these are also in a lot of different plastic surgery offices
I also feel that it kind of plumped the lines up and helps with elasticity and
kind of firms things this one by stryve Acton I also like it's a little it feels
like it's a little bit there's more of an exfoliation involved with this and a
little bit more firming so right now I'm liking this one a little bit better your
neck goes all the way down here so anything your skin is all connected so
if it needs to be firmed you have to start above it and below the area that
you're trying to target so next we're gonna move on to eyes I did write a blog
on live young life style called beauty on a budget if you want to
save money anywhere give up the eye cream and just like I told you put all
your other treatments right underneath your eye you don't you don't really need
I cream but man do I love this one so this is nurse Jamie's EGF eye complex
and this is her beauty stamp it's not just what you put on your face topically
it's stuff that you do to help your skin regenerate and part of that has to do
with creating little micro traumas and I. Talk about this a lot on my youtube
channel and in my blogs drying out your skin and using a retinoid product like
that is creating micro traumas it is exfoliating that outer skin which is
making your your skin underneath to make more cells it's the same thing with
micro needling this is a version of a micro needle that is an ace stamp so
instead of rolling like I had done on that previous video my favorite at-home
treatments this is a stamp that I use every single night so you literally
press this around your eyes now believe it or not I do my eyebrows because micro
needling also helps stimulate hair growth when our skin gets really thin
and crepey around our eyes to do this on a nightly basis is very very good so get
right underneath and I usually do all the way out to the temple all the way
across the eyebrow now I'm gonna get a little red but I want to make sure I
show you and then I follow it with nurse Jamie EGF eye complex which it
moisturizes it deep puffs it helps with dark circles all things good in one
little bottle okay so that is the eye treatment and now we're going to move on
to eyelashes eyebrows there are a lot of over-the-counter eyelash and you know
enhancement serums that you can brush on almost every dermatologist on the planet
will have Latisse and you're basically it comes with like this
you know disposable things because you don't want to go over your eye with the
same little brush now the cheat it is cheaper to do the ones that you can buy
in a beauty supply store I do like revitalash but the only
problem that I have found with those is after like a few weeks I want to throw
it out because what you're doing is you're sticking something back in you
know to the same product and I always worry about about that and and usually
too I use this on my eyebrows so after I.

Have all of this cream stuff on all my
retinas all my potions I'm then putting it on my eyebrows and sticking it back
into the thing do I think revitalash works yes it does right now I like this
one a little bit better so you're just putting a drop you're going right along
your lash line you do not need a lot of this you just barely want them to feel
moist because if you put too much it will go in your eyeball you're wasting
the product and you'll end up with like little fuzzy hairs growing all over your
eye so this is really really concentrated and again I'm not even
touching it to the brush and I'll do the other eye and whatever is leftover I put
right up in my eyebrows if you go underneath your eyebrows with this it
does make a big difference and helps them fill in and bring those eyebrows a
little bit more down to earth which is a more youthful look so the last thing
that you do is if you anti-age from only here up you're missing 90% of your body
so like I said before I shower every night I dry brush but at night I like to
do an exfoliating thing for my body as well you don't want to use a retin-a or
a really strong product on your body so there are two products that I really
like I couldn't get a hold of one before this shoot but it's by the same company
that makes this retin-a it's called environ and it's a dermal AK it helps
with cell turnover it helps with the tone of your skin it's a really great
product so again this environment is a company that I really like but what I'm
using right now that I that I also love is is V germ and this is a glycolic acid
so it it stings a little bit especially if you've drybrushed first
but I always say like if it doesn't hurt if it doesn't sting and if it doesn't
smell bad it's probably not doing anything for your skin you know you have
to be consistent and be patient with this stuff because great skin doesn't
happen overnight it does take time it is effort to wash off your makeup every
night and go through these rituals but you know what you're worth it and that
is a really good way to live young.

MY NIGHT TIME SKIN CARE ROUTINE!

Hi guys! So for today's video I'm gonna be doing a
night time skin care routine. This video was highly requested and I just
wanna start of the video by saying that I. Am no expert in skin care or dermatology or
anything like that. I'm actually trying out a lot of the new products
recently and implementing more regimented skin care routine.

So I'm just gonna be talking about some of
the things that I tried out recently and have liked. Some of the products I have used for years
and have loved recommend. Some of the products I'm still new to and
trying to see if it works out with my skin. So I have already taken off my makeup and
have cleansed my skin.

To take off my makeup, I like to use this. This is the estee lauder advanced micro cleansing
balm but really any of the other cleansing balms will work. It's like a solid like this and you kinda
put it on your face and it melts your makeup away and it's really good for a lot of really
stubborn makeup like mascara or eyeliner and things like that. So I have been using this for a few years
and I really recommend this product.

A lot of the other brands also have this product
in different names and form. Clinique has one and I'm pretty sure a lot
of the drug store brands also have them as well. So I definitely recommend this balm-style
makeup remover. After I remove my makeup, I still use another
cleanser.

The one that I've been using is this Glossier
Milky Jelly Cleanser but I've also used this drunk elephant jelly cleanser as well. This one I keep in the shower and this one
I keep by the sink. So I kinda alternate using both products depending
on where I'm taking off my makeup. After taking off the makeup I use this herbivore
jasmine green tee toner.

So I just spray it into my face. Like this. I think for toners, you can wipe it off. I usually just kinda tap it into my skin.

For me a big plus for skin care items is really
minimizing the steps. So I really like this product because you
can spray it into face. You don't have to get like a cotton ball and
get the product out and put it on your face. It's really to spray it on to your face.

I like this product a lot. It does have a scent to it that you might
not like. It smells a little medicine-y. I don't mind it but you might if you're sensitive
to these types of scents.

So keep that in mind. Again, it's herbivore jasmine green tea balancing
toner. For serums, there are a couple that I've been
using. This one is from Drunk Elephant.

It's called tlc framboos glycolic night serum. It has a combination of AHA and BHA blend. That stands for alpha hydroxy acid and beta
hydroxy acid. I'm using this as part of a trial kit.

This is really small. It came with another night time oil that you
can use but I've been using this mostly. It's really gentle on the skin and it hasn't
irritated my skin at all. So I like it so far.

Another thing I'm using is this dr. Brandt
retinol cream complex serum. I believe this is a time release. So the active ingredient--the retinol is going
to be released over night so I've been using this also...

Also something to note about retinol is...
It does make your skin a little more sensitive to sunlight so you have to wear sunscreen
during the day but you should be doing that anyway so I wear this at night and I wear
sunscreen during the day. After these serums, I use moisturizers. The one that I'm trying is this drunk elephant
lala retro whipped cream moisturizer which is very creamy and it melts into your skin
really nicely. I got these nail tips put in for my vacation
because I don't have to work in the hospital.

If you work in the hospital you can't have
these long nails. I think they look really nice but I've never
realized how hard they make your life... Like putting on creams.. They get stuck under your
nails or whatever but they do look nice.

Another moisturizer that I've used in the
past that I've liked is this Glossier priming moisturizer. It's very light but they do say it's a buildable
hydrating cream so you can use it multiple layers if you feel like you need more hydration. Usually I use it during the day but sometimes
I use it at night and I'll usually double up on the layer. They do have a richer version of this that's
available on their website which I've never tried so I'm not sure if it's going to agree
with my skin.

I do have pretty sensitive skin so if something
is really rich, I do break out or I get red or something like that and this hasn't done
that to my skin so I'm sticking with this one. Last but not least, I use a plain vaseline. I put some Glossier stickers on it. For my lips, I found this to be the most effective
for keeping my lips moisturized and prevent them from cracking.

Basically, this is like the basic night time
skin care routine. I have been trying a few masks, so I'm gonna
talk a little about them. The first one is this one from herbivore blue
tansy. I believe this has a higher concentration
of AHA and BHA.

It's a resurfacing clarify mask. So when you put it on, it does tingle a little
a bit and there is a slight sensation of burning which is normal and you put it on for about
20 to 30 minutes and then you wash it off. As far as resurfacing mask go, I feel like
this one is on the gentler side. There are other mask out there with higher
concentration of AHA/BHA and that can be a little more irritated to your skin.

So I think this is a good beginner resurfacing
mask if you're looking to try. So I picked this up a few weeks ago. I have been trying it a couple times a week
and I like it so far. The next mask I have is this one from farmacy
it's called the honey potion renewing antioxidant hydration mask.

Honey is supposed to be really moisturizing
for your skin, it has a very nice honey-link consistency if you look inside. When you put it in your face it turns into
a white cream and then it warms up a little bit. I used it for the first time after my half
marathon and sometimes in the winter my skin gets really dry. I like it a lot.

This mask is something that I've used over
four years. It's a korean brand and the name is sulwhasoo
and the name of the product is yayunpak and in English it's called overnight vitalizing
mask. It's something you put on at night like a
moisturizing cream but it's an overnight mask that you wash off in the morning. I remember the first time I used it and I
washed it off in the morning my skin felt really different and I really liked it and
it's very gentle, it feels like a moisturizer, it doesn't get sticky, it doesn't tingle,
it doesn't burn, I really really like this product and I've been using it for years and
years.

I do believe it's available in America as
well. That is all the skin care products for my
night time skin care routine. Obviously, I try my best to keep up with a
routine and take care of my skin but I don't always get to perfectly but this is my goal
routine. I try to do the basics every night because
it's really important to care for skin while you're still young so I try to do that and
hopefully it was interesting and or helpful.

Let me know what you guys think. Let me know if you guys have tried out any
of this products or if you guys have any recommendations. I would love to hear about them and read about
them so I will see you in the next video. BYE!!.

MY NIGHT TIME SKIN CARE ROUTINE 2017

Hey guys welcome back to my channel so today, I'm here to bring you a skincare Nighttime routine and by nighttime routine. I literally mean just what I do To remove my makeup to wash my face yeah, I'm just gonna show you basically My skincare routine that I use before I go to bed. It's that easy now, yes, if you're wondering why the quality is probably not that good and I'm looking probably in a weird area And it's the angles weird because I'm filming this on my iPhone, and there's nothing wrong with filming with an iPhone It's good to be real and my authentic self with you guys so I thought it's okay if I don't have my camera here with me right now because an IPhone works just as well Also if you're wondering I mean most of you know that like Lilia Buckinghams one of my best friends And I basically live at her house, so I'm in her bathroom her beautiful bathroom, so yeah I'm just gonna be walking you guys through the steps I do by all means you will not have all of these products only because I. Have a dermatologist because when I was on tour last year I.

Had a dance with a wig over my forehead and that caused a lot of breakouts on my forehead so my skin was reacting and it was getting really intense, and it was like fired up and so I was getting super insecure so I decided to go to a dermatologist and most of these products are from my dermatologist and I used those because they have cleared my skin I have dupes that I'm going to Just show you throughout the video just to show you that there are things that work Just as well the only reason I use these products are because once again I wanted my skin to be clear, but there are other products I've used before that I recommend that are a lot cheaper as well and that you can find at like a drugstore that Will be great for your skin without further ado, let's just get on to this video So I first start out by taking whatever makeup of that I had on that day, so I use Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towels towelettes these Makeup wipes. A lot of people use these but I recommend them 100% they don't have a super intense scent so they won't make your skin break out They're very light and gentle on your face, and they're honestly worth buying because they do the job right they get all of your makeup off And they're honestly just really gentle on your skin. Now you can tell I just took off my makeup with those wipes But something I've learned is that your makeup will never fully be off with just a makeup Wipe you'll still have residue some dirt, which is gross But true and just a little bit of leftover mascara Let's just say so I take this amazing micellar water Micellar Micellar cleansing water I know you say it. This is from Garnier.

You can get this at Rite Aid Walgreens any drugstore, and it's honestly so amazing All-in-one removes makeup cleanses and refreshes your skin and all you have to do is you just take this with some cotton pads so I just take this I damp it in the little cotton pad and I. Just go and remove the makeup And As you can see there's a little bit of dirt left over which is gross But I want to show you guys that it works And there are still leftover residue on your face that you don't realize you have moving on Next I will move on to my face wash. I am not gonna show you what face.. I'm not gonna show you what face wash I use only because it's from the dermatologist And I have a feeling that no one's gonna use it just a face wash that I recommend is the Cetaphil or Cetaphil I'm not really sure how to pronounce it.

It might be Cetaphil. I don't know, but this is what it looks like right here It's just a nice face wash. I personally think that this face wash is amazing because it cleans your skin, it's Not one that will give you a breakout. It's very gentle and light, and it doesn't have a fragrance I feel like face washes that have that perfume-y like fragrance kind of smell to them Usually has a little bit of chemical or scents that break my skin out So I think it's super important to like care for your skin and to really pay attention to what ingredients and what Certain products are in them if that makes sense moving on to toner Okay, so this is also from my dermatologist, but I'm going to show you guys anyways.

This is a topical cleanser there's a little bit of witch hazel in it and a little bit of alcohol and a toner is basically meant to just Really get into the skin I think it's supposed to minimize the appearance of pores I believe and it's also good to just get rid of any texture or pimples that might be coming onto your skin I. Personally think that adding this toner into my skin care Adding this toner into my skincare routine has definitely made such a big difference I feel like my skin is a lot better when I use this toner. Here's another toner that I. Recommend that I think is super good for your skin Honestly all toners.

I'm sure have the same purpose and they can do the same thing But I personally love the one I use. So I just take this with those cotton pads. I showed you earlier, and I just Apply that all around to my problem areas I don't apply it to my whole entire face only because sometimes it can be a little drying, and yeah, that's basically What I use for my toner Next this is not a necessary step to your skincare routine, but if you have pimples or you get breakouts I. Recommend this so much my dermatologist recommended this to me, but you can get it at a Pharmacy you have to go over the counter to get it like my mom got it for me, but it's just this right here.

Hello Hi I'm filming a YouTube video I put this on my problem areas as well It's just a gel to prevent acne to clear up problem areas, and I really think this works And by the way I didn't pronounce the name Because I don't want to say it wrong. I don't want people to call me out for it This is really important to me if you guys Don't need it. If you don't want to use it. I totally understand I'm just showing you what I do.

Next for moisturizer I have two moisturizers that I've been going back and forth with they're both on the pricey side but I think a moisturizer is one of the most important steps in my facial routine only because I. Hate having dry skin and having that moisture back into your skin after putting the toner and putting that that peroxide gel It's very important to have moisturized base for your skin first I'm going to show you the two moisturizers that I've been using a lot And then I'm going to show you one that I use that's also super inexpensive So the first one is this Tatcha the silk cream if you guys watched my holiday makeup tutorial you will see that I'm obsessed with this like you don't understand how good it is. It's weightless anti-aging and a rich silk extract for normal to dry skin the other one is I'm gonna lie really expensive And if you can't get this I totally understand my mom gave this to me as a present So that's I wouldn't have it if I just like got it myself, but this is the la mer Moisturizer so this looks like that smells luxurious it smells amazing I also really recommend this like if you were to spend your money on something I. Recommend these two moisturizers like if you're going to get a high-end something if you're willing to spend your money on a moisturizer These two oh my god.

They are so amazing so tonight as you can see I was using the la mer one just because How is it the mood to use that one I've been using that one Recently a little more than the other just because I don't know why but I really enjoy it and it's so nice on my skin a Moisturizer that I really recommend, that's also so amazing is the Clinique Moisturizer it's the one it's like an iconic one that I think everyone knows about it's in a yellow tube And I also use that one as well Just as much They are so amazing and it is a lot cheaper than the Tatcha and La mer one so if you're looking for that I totally recommend the Clinique one to Moisturize my lips I use the Smiths rosebud Little thing I love this it smells like rose obviously oh It's I just literally put it to the camera thinking you guys were going to smell it,  I'm an idiot. Oh my god It smells amazing and it's so moisturizing for the lips I love it so much and Lastly something that I use I don't use it every night but when I. Do have a blemish or blemishes because I do get a lot of blemishes you guys just don't see. Its the Mario Budescu ah Skincare drying lotion, this is an iconic Thing I feel like for me and my friends I know this is kind of gross But I recommend popping her pimple first and then putting the drying cream on top and then going to bed when you wake up It's flat So you won't have a textured bump on your skin.

I really think this works, so well, and you can find it at Urban Outfitters So it's really nice and that guys really concludes my skincare routine I know a lot of you have been asking me to do this, and I know you probably found it not as helpful or kind of boring, but I did want to show it to you guys and I Understand that some of these products were a little pricey, but promise me I don't just buy them just to have them my skincare is one of the most important things to be spending money on because I really cherish My skin, and I want it to be great, and I get really insecure if I don't have perfect skin I also realized that I'm a teenager and every teenager gets blemishes and goes through Different times with their skin my skins up and down all the time, but for the most part I'm lucky to have the skin I do have if you guys found this helpful at all Just let me know I will also link the products in the description below just so you guys can Find them if you want to get them or order then comment down below What products that you use or you are going to try now because you watch this video, so yeah? My Korean Skin Care Routine

[Intro music playing] Hello everyone, it is Melody and I am coming
at you live from [music plays] you already know! So today we will be talking about skincare. All things having to do with my skin care
routine. Honestly, I was putting my products, ya know
gathering them all for this video, I had no idea how many Korean products I use and this
basically is like a Korean skin care routine. I had no idea until I look at them all together
just how infused these Korean products have become into my routine.

So, yeah, kind of cool. Anyways, let's just go ahead and jump right
into it. The first thing I do every night before I
go to bed is take my make up off. Now before I came here, I used to use Dove
soap and it would kind of like cleanse my skin and removed my make up, all in one.

But, I found that it's really drying, especially
on my eye lids which is like really random. But my eyelids would get really really dry
so now I use this product: the Rice Water Brightening Light Cleansing Oil from The Face
Shop. I really like this product because like it
says, it's really light. It is an oil though, which is something different
for me.

Back home I never used an oil to like, do
anything in my make up, so using this, getting used to it at first, was a little bit, uh,
it was different. But now that it's like apart of my routine,
I really like it because it gets off all the make up, especially, like the mascara, which
is the one thing that I'm like massaging it over my eyes to get the mascara out. And it smells really nice, it's like a nice
clean scent, not really overwhelming or anything like that. So that's the first thing I use and after
I take some warm water and I rinse that off, ya know as best as you can because oil and
water doesn't really mix very well.

So to completely get the make up and oil off,
I follow it up with the mango seed cleansing foam and it is also from The Face Shop. Now this is actually a face cleanser that
I got for free. So when you go to a Korean, like, skin care
store, like make up store, and you buy stuff you always get like a "service" product. "Service" is basically something free with
every purchase.

And this was given to me for free after I
purchased something, I don't even remember what I purchased and yeah, I ended up really,
really liking this and it gets all the oil off, the residue from the make up, everything. It just leaves my skin feeling really clean
but not tight, ya know. So it doesn't feel like I can't smile or like
if I smile my face is just going to like crack or something. It feels clean but also moisturized.

So, love this! Now after all my make up is done, I go onto
my next step, and that is Lush. Guys, I love Lush, so much. I fell in love with them in February when
I went home for a visit. My best friend she was using Lush - the one
from my best friend tag.

And [she was] ranting and raving about how
it's like all natural and everything like that and I was like "Yo, I need to check this
out!" So I went to Lush and I basically, absolutely fell in love. The only thing I don't love are those prices! But, it's okay, totally worth it. So, the next thing in my skin care routine
is: Dark Angels. It is a face and body cleanser.

Dark Angels is really good for removing dark
spots on your face. It's a scrub, but it's like a gentle enough
exfoliate that if you want you can use it everyday. I tend to do it maybe..Two, how many times? I tend to do it maybe 3 to 4 times a week. And I just, uh, I put it on my face and I
kind of use it as an exfoliate, one, and as a mask.

So, I will put it on my face, ya know, rub
a dub dub, and I will leave it on my face for maybe 10 minutes until it all is dry. And then I will go ahead and get warm water
and rinse it off. And for me, it just leaves me skin feeling
really really refreshed. The only thing about this product is the residue.

When you're trying to rinse it off, if you
have some remaining oil on your face from something else you did - like, uh, maybe if
I'm taking my make up off and I have some remaining oil from the oil cleanser, it sticks
to that and it's hard to get off. So, that is one thing with the Dark Angels,
it doesn't rinse off very smoothly. So, yeah, keep that in mind. Now, after the Dark Angels, step 3, depending
how my skin is feeling.

If it needs a little extra TLC, I then will
go to my mask. Now this is like a mask that's made to be
a mask. It is from Innisfree. It is the Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask and
I love it, I love love love this product.

You put it on your face for 10 minutes and
for me, what I've found is the important part is to only put it on for 10 minutes. Anything else, I feel like it dries your skin
out but if you do what it says, 10 minutes, and rinse it off, your skin feels tingle-y,
and clean, and refreshed and your pores feel like tighter. I have really oily skin, I tend to be super
duper oily so this kind of combats that and I also have really large pores, so this is
just overall a really really good product for me. So once my skin is just feeling luxurious,
it's time for the toner.

So, before I came to Korea, I did not use
a toner, ever really. Now, I use a toner. It is the Real Squeeze Aloe Vera Toner from
Nature Republic. Now, Nature Republic is a Korea [skin] store,
that pride itself on being, like, nature based, ya know.

And I really, really like this toner. It doesn't leave my skin feeling super duper
oily, which is a problem that I have with a lot of Korean products. I already have oily skin so their products
tend to be too moisturizing for me but this toner, kind of just feels refreshing. Again, I guess that's a theme of things I
like, something that, it just feels refreshing, it feels good on my skin just to pat it in.

I use one squirt and just pat it into my face. Um, just distributing it around my face and
then I will let it sink into my skin. Yeah, so, toner, new thing but I really like
it. So, after that, we go onto the final moisturizing
step and this is a product that I use only when it starts to get cold here in Korea because
my skin is drier and it needs more moisture.

During summer and spring I use something different
but right now, what I use is Nature Republic's Real Squeeze Aloe Vera Cream. Now the toner and the cream are like a set,
ya know, they kind of go together. So they compliment each other really really
well. Something interesting about the cream is that
it's actually in gel form, which I thought was pretty cool and it kind of feels like
you're literally like squeezing aloe vera straight from a plant and putting it on your
face.

And it's really, really moisturizing and it
doesn't leave a residue. I don't know about you but I cannot stand
when I put a product on my skin and I can like feel it still on my hands after I put
it on and then I can like feel it on my face. I really, really don't like that and that
is why I love this cream because I don't get that feeling with it. So when I wake up the next morning, my skin
just feels really really moisturized, which I appreciate, especially when it's cold outside
or like winter, ya know, and my skin needs that extra moisture, this is awesome.

Alright guys, so that is my skin care routine,
that is what I do, every night. In the morning, I just cut out the Dark Angels,
and the mask, and the oil because I have no make up on my skin so it's really just the
Mango Seed and then I go right into the Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer and I
love it because it has SPF 15 in it and my mom has like drilled into my head ever since
I was young, "always put sun screen on your face, it's very important to protect your
skin." So, yeah, I love this because it has that
SPF in it. Alright guys, so that is it, that is my skincare
routine, this is what I do on the daily here in Korea. Yeah that's just, ya know, what I do.

I hope you enjoyed this video. If you did, be sure to give it a thumbs up. If you haven't subscribed already, be sure
to. And if you have any questions about the products
I'm using or how I use it, or anything like that, comment down below and I will be sure
to get back to you.

And I hope you all have a fantastic one. I will see you in my next video..

My Korean 10 Step Skin Care Routine (OilyAcne Skin) ENG SUBAnna Luisa

Hello everyone! How are you? This is Luisa. On today's video, I am going to be sharing
with you my 10-Step Korean skin care routine. This is a long awaited video. I planned this video for such a long time.

I didn't want to upload a video just because
I wanted to upload it. Of course, I wanted to upload videos of quality. That's why I really tried testing out this
Korean 10-Step skin care routine for months and months because I have oily, acne prone
sensitive skin. I can't incorporate all of the products at
the same time.

So it took me a while. I think I started contemplating on doing the
10-Step Korean skin care routine around March and I'm only doing the video now because I
am only able to really incorporate everything recently. And that I have tried and tested it for quite
some time. So I'm really excited to share this one with
you.

I'll try to keep it short. But I can't really tell how talkative I'm
gonna get. Don't forget to grab some snacks. So that you have something to eat while watching
this video.

If you have any questions, leave them all
in the comment section down below. And I will be happy to answer all of them. And just for your reference, I have oily,
acne prone, sensitive skin. So the first step in the 10-Step Korean skin
care routine is of course, removing your makeup.

Korean skin care routine is known for double
cleansing. They either remove their makeup using a cleansing
water or an oil based makeup remover. Now, this step I usually only do at night. Because I feel like I don't really need double
cleansing in the morning.

However, some people claim that double cleansing
can also benefit you if you do it during the day. But personally, I don't do it during the day. But for the purpose of this video, I did it. So usually when I don't wear makeup, I still
do double cleansing but the one that I use is cleansing water.

And the cleansing water that I am currently
using right now is The Saem Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water. This would be my second bottle of this particular
cleansing water. The first one that I used was in the Green
Tea variant. And the second one is this one right here,
the Tea Tree variant.

Both are good products. Before this is also what I use to remove my
makeup but I stopped using it because I started wearing waterproof makeup. This cannot remove waterproof makeup especially
the Etude House Curl Fix Mascara. It cannot remove that one.

That is why I just opted to use this whenever
I don't wear makeup to remove excess oil and dirt on my face. On days when I wear makeup, I use this Heimish
All Clean Balm. This is an oil based makeup remover. I have a full review of this one during my
K-BEAUTY week, I will be placing the link down in the description bar and somewhere
in the card up there.

Basically this is a solid oil based makeup
remover. It is solid at first but once you get some
and spread it on your face, it turns into an oil. And it removes everything. Everything on your face- dirt, oil, makeup,
waterproof mascara, including the Curl Fix mascara of Etude House plus the Heroine Make
mascara, it removes all of that.

It really performs well. Now, for the second part of the double cleansing,
this would be step 2. I use cleansing gel foams. Now, there are different types of cleansing
foams you can use for the step 2.

You can use cream foam, you can also use mousse
type cleansers but personally what works best for my skin type are gel foams because gel
products tend to mesh well with my skin type. As I've said, I have oily, acne prone sensitive
skin. If I try and use cream foams or other forms of foaming cleansers, I tend to breakout. So I only use gel foams.

I have 2 to share with you because one, I
use during the day time and the other one, I use at night. So my daytime cleanser is the Low PH Good
Morning Cleanser from COSRX. This is very good. It also smells like tea tree oil so if you
don't like that smell, stay away from it but if you, oh my goodness you will love this.

This is very light on the face. It's not stripping (of moisture) at all. It also lathers up (not so much). The one I use at night, however, is this Aloe
Vera Soothing and Moisture Cleansing Gel Foam.

This is included in my favorite skin care
line from Nature Republic and I use it at night. It smells like typical Aloe Vera. Are you familiar with the Aloe Vera gel from
Nature Republic? It smells exactly like that. And it's really good.

For me, it's really good. I like it because it's also not stripping
and I only use it at night. I honestly don't know why I bought 2 (cleansers). But I just thought it might be good to have
a variety of products (to use) on my face.

That is why I use this one. It also works almost the same as this one. The COSRX however, once dispensed has a smoother
gel consistency, almost water like. Whereas the Nature Republic has a thicker
gel formula.

But both are good products. They don't strip off the moisture out of your
face and it cleanses the face very well. On days when I wear makeup, I sometimes use
a sponge to help cleanse the face completely or recently, I have been using this. This the No.

7 Cleansing Face Brush and it's
just a battery operated, spinning cleansing brush. It looks like the typical cleansing brushes
from Vanity Planet. It's not like the Clairsonic because the Clairsonic
is more of a vibration but this is the type that spins. The next step would have to be exfoliation.

Now, this part, I don't really do every single
day. But to be honest, I only do it once a week. So once a week is enough for me. I don't want to overly exfoliate my face.

Especially since I do physical exfoliation
most of the time. But I'll give you some options on what you
can use to exfoliate your skin. Exfoliating is very important so you can scrub
off the dead skin cells on your face. Soemtimes, especially when you use AHAs and
BHAs, they remove the dead skin cells but I feel like they don't completely get sloughed
off your face.

Sometims, I feel like its what causes breakouts. Because dead skin cells get trapped on the
surface of the skin and clog pores. So it is very important to exfoliate the skin. For me, once a week is enough.

And most of the time, I use this product right
here. This is the Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash
Off. Just as it says, it is a wash off sugar mask. And what I do is while my skin is still wet
from cleansing, I apply it all over my face.

That lessens the abrasiveness of the sugar
mask. Because that's one of the things other people
don't like about this product. They say it can be abrasive and not good for
sensitive skin. But for me, I have sensitive skin, and this
one has never caused me any problems.

Because I read the instructions. It says right here that if it is too abrasive
for your liking, you can put toner or water. So what I do is while my face is still wet,
I use this one and lather it on my face. This smells so good.

It has like a citrus scent. When you apply
this on your face initially, you will feel the scrubs but as you lather it all over your
face, it slowly melts. After that, you leave it on for 10-15 minutes
on your face before rinsing it off. After that, it leaves the face super soft
and I really like using this as my physical exfoliator.

Sometimes, I don't have time to use physical
exfoliators especially since I usually have to wait 10-15 minutes like a treatment for
this one. So when I don't have time, I use this particular
product right here. This is the Missha D-Tox Peeling Gel. I actually have a full first impression on
this particular product.

It reminds me of that product from iWhite,
the 2 Minute Miracle something. When you rub it on your skin, it forms particles. It's hard to show you but you can feel that
it gets rough. And those particles gets removed.

I guess you can say this is a form of a chemical/physical
exfoliant. It works best when you massage it on your
face. This (Missha) is a little milder than tis
one (Skinfood) in theory but Skinfood leaves my skin a lot softer which is why I prefer
it. I just thought I'd mention this one because
I also use it.

So far, it hasn't broken me out. So after exfoliating the skin, my skin is
definitely ready to absorb all that products that I am going to be applying on my face. I will be moving on to the 4th step, which
is toning my face. Now, just like my cleansers, I have 2 toners
that I use on a daily basis.

The first one is the Nature Republic Soothing
and Moisture Aloe Vera 90% Toner. And like I said, this is form the same line
of my favorite skin care line from Nature Republic. It has the same scent with the soothing gel
but it is in toner form. It's very mild, I just apply this using my
hands.

This is the product that I used for the demo
because it was daytime (when I filmed this) and it's very cooling and refreshing. It just leaves your skin feeling soft. It's not like previous toners I've tried which
dries out the skin. Even though you have oily skin, you shouldn't
strip your skin of it's natural oils.

Because when you do that, it triggers our
oil glands to produce more oil because it thinks your skin is dry and it compensates
by producing more oil to fight dryness. There must be balance so that your skin doesn't
get confused. Anyway, I really like this one. I'm halfway through this bottle.

This one is also perfect for doing the 7 Skin
Method. (Someone commented that this isn't a good
product for that method because it contains alcohol. Pleae be aware.) If you guys haven't seen that video yet, I
did a full video regarding 7 Skin Method. It's a Korean skin care trend.

I will just place the link over there and
down in the description bar. I have no time to discuss it but basically
you layer your toner 7 times, the reasons and benefits, you will be able to see on that
video. Now, at night time, I use a "stronger" toner. I use a toner that is specially made for acne
prone skin.

I like using this one. This is the Natural BHA Skin Returning A Sol. I'm not sure if you guys are aware, BHA is
really good for acne prone skin. It goes deep into the layers of your skin.

That is why it helps heal breakouts. The great thing about this product is even
though it has BHA, it doesn't sting the skin. And at the same time, it isn't drying afterwards. I used to like the Eskinol toner.

I used to use it on my face. However, that one can be very stripping. This one, isn't. The scent, however, is a little bit alcohol-like.

It doesn't feel like alcohol on the skin and
I really like this one to use at night. Next after toning, 5th step would have to
be essence. The essence that I have with me right now
is the Missha Time Revolution First Treatment Essence. This is their intensive moist variant.

This essence is really good. It contains niacinamide so it helps fade dark
spots. Basically, essence is the core of the Korean
skin care routine. With essence, you can use a product that targets
you specific skin needs.

As for me, even though I still breakout, my
major concern at the moment are my hyperpigmentations because I have a lot of it. Over the past few months, my skin has improved
so I just felt like I had to remove my dark spots. So far, it's doing me good. I can't say it has completely faded the dark
spots but it's a good addition to my skin care routine.

It adds to the moisture on the face. It's very
easy to apply. I only use my hands to pat it on my face. And one tip is whatever goes on your face,
put it on your neck as well. Because it's difficult if you neglect your
neck.

Your facial skin may be good, but if you leave
out your neck, it might not look good. So make sure to use products for your neck
as well. After essence, I use a serum or ampule. So this is the Centella Blemish Ampule from
COSRX.

I have a full review of this one complete
with check ins and all that. So if you guys are interested, I will be placing
a link down in the description bar and on the card over there. Basically, I apply this after essence or sometimes,
I just skip the essence and go straight to ampule.I feel like as long as I have a treatment
product in my skin care routine, I'm good. Sometimes, I just use essence and sometimes,
I just use ampule.

But there are also time when I use both. Whenever I use both, I use the essence first,
then ampule. This one is really good for acne prone skin. I feel like it helps a lot especially since
ampules are made to sink deeper into your skin.

It's really good to use it especially when
you exfoliate your skin. The skin care products you apply will definitely
be absorbed better by your skin. After ampule, you can go straight to your
moisturizer. And the moisturizer that I'm currently using,
and I've been using this for the past 3 or 4 years, this is the Nature Republic Soothing
and Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel.

This has really changed my skin care game. I was using different moisturizers before
this and I noticed that I really do get a lot of breakouts and I get small bumps here
and there. After I started using this, I noticed that
the small bumps has been minimized. The small bumps on my forehead and on my face
has gone.

Whenever I would break out, it would only
be the ones underneath the skin, cystic ones, caused by hormonal imbalance. But on the surface bumps were removed by this
product. I told myself that for as long as Nature Republic
is still releasing this product, this would be the only moisturizer that I'm going to
use because it works for me. It's very light.

I can use it all year round. Even though we have winter here, and this
is a lightweight moisturizer, perfect for spring and summer, it feels like water when
you apply it, but during winter time, I can use both essence and serum so I feel like
my skin will still be well moisturized while using this. I don't feel the need to change this. I can use it all year round, all seasons,
and it just never breaks me out.

In fact, it improved my skin tremendously. And I know that there are a lot of brands
that copied this one. But I just never tried them because I know
that this already works well for me and I. Just can't risk using another brand's soothing
gel.

I might breakout. After that, I apply my eye cream. Usually, I apply eye cream after moisturizing
because at this point, I am making sure that my skin has fully absorbed the moisturizer
I applied. So usually, while waiting, I apply my eye
cream.

The eye cream that I'm using is this TEHFACESHOP
Pomegranate and Collagen Volume Lifting Eye Cream and this is my holy grail eye cream. I think this would be my fourth tub. I've been using this since 2014 so it has
already been 3 years. Definitely, I've seen improvements on my undereye
when I started using this.

Whenever i would try different eye creams,
I am always disappointed. They can't compare to this one. When you apply it under your eyes, it feel
lightweight like regular eye cream but it keeps the eye area moisturized (for a long
time). Which is why I think the fine line underneath
my eyes aren't pronounced.

I'm 27 and I'm not getting any younger. I definitely have fine lines underneath my
eyes and I want to prevent further depression of fine lines. This really helps me with that. I remember I tried switching to a different
eye cream because of the craze about the Mizon eye cream.

I tried it out but got disappointed because
this one performs so much better. I highly recommend it. A friend of mine is also using this one. She was actually the one who recommended this
to me because before, I was using a different THEFACESHOP eye cream and it worked well for
me, the Wrinkle Stop eye cream.

However, it was phased out. And then my friend just casually mentioned
that she also wanted to get the Wrinkle Stop eye cream but she couldn't find it so she
got this one. So when I couldn't find the Wrinkle Stop eye
cream, I decided to switch to this one and it was a good decision. My only problem with this one is it''s not
readily available in most THEFACESHOP stores (recently).

I'm not sure if they're planning to phase
this one out or what but when I went to Korea and when I was still living in the Philippines,
whenever I would visit THEFACESHOP stores, this is not available. Good thing I saw this on the ibuybeauti website. It can last you for 6-8 months and I religiously
use it twice a day. It comes with a spatula too.

After that one, I have an extra step that
I do. It's not really included in the 10-Step Korean
skin care routine but I ought to mention it to you guys, because I always do this. After applying eye cream, I apply lip balm. Your lips also show signs of aging.

There are lines that will show how old you
are. Which is why it is really best to keep moisturizing
your lips. As for me, I use this everyday and night. After all of that, I go ahead with the last
step of my daytime skin care routine, which is Step #9, and this is the sunscreen.

And the one that I'm using is the Nature Republic
Provence Calendula Aqua Sun Gel. It contains SPF 50+ and a PA of +++. Now, sunscreen is very important. I know some people don't use sunscreen but
it's very impoprtant.

They say when it's rainy or it's winter time,
or when the sun is not shining brightly, they don't use sunscreen, but guys, the sun doesn't
go away. That is why there's light during daytime. That means there are ultraviolet rays whether
or not it is scorching hot or not. Definitely, wear sunscreen all the time.

So I always use this every single morning. And what I found out over the years is my
skin is very sensitive to sunscreens. I can only use gel type variants. Previously, I only used dermatologist prescribed
or provided sun gels but I found this one.

This is the Nature Republic Sun Gel and it
works on my skin. It contains 60ml, if I'm not mistaken. It just feels like a super light gel lotion. When you apply it on your face, it gets absorbed
easily.

Sometimes when you apply regular sunscreens,
it feel sticky and it's very hard to blend but it is defintely not the case for this
one. It gets easily absorbed and I really like
using this one. I highly recommend it. I would definitely repurchase after I finish
this one.

Anyway, for the last step of the skin care
routine, usually, I do this at night. In replacement of the sunscreen but I only
do this once a week. Once or twice a week. Back when I was in the Philippines and I wasn't
working, I used to do this twice a week and it definitely gave good results on my skin.

However, since I'm very busy with work, I
can't do it twice a week but if you can, I. Highly suggest that you do. I normally use this after all of my skin care
products. This is just face masks.

Basically, I use this to seal everything on
top of it. Some people like to use this after toner because
it also contains essence. For me, I like to use this on top of everything
just to seal everything in place. My favorite at the moment are Innisfree ones.

I have more variants in my collection right
now but the one that I would highly recommend at the moment are Innisfree It's Real Squeeze
Masks. Any variant from this line is good for my
skin. It never breaks me out. I really remember when I was doing mask sheets
twice a week, it definitely made my skin a lot better.

And it even decreased the amount of breakouts
I was having. It definitely improved the condition of my
skin. The next step is not a part of the Korean
10-Step Skin Care Routine but I do it because I have acne prone skin and that step is Spot
Treatment. For spot treatment, I use this one right here.

It's the Centella Blemish Cream and it's just
a cream that you apply on your breakout. The trick to using this one because it says
right here: how to use it. Apply on pimples by dabbing with fingertip
until cream blends into the skin. So I used to do exactly like that. But I realized
that if I apply it and dab it halfway until it gets absorbed by the skin, and then I just
let the rest of the centella cream on my face to get absorbed naturally, I feel that it
works better.

It heals my pimples faster. It draws out the gunk from underneath your
pores and it just promotes healing faster. Another thing that I like to do whenever I
have breakouts especially when I have cystic acne, because those are definitely underneath
the skin. I use pimple patches.

I use this Etude House AC Clinic Powder Spot
Patch but I'm almost running out. I'm looking forward to trying out the COSRX
one. So far, that's my skin care routine but I'm
looking forward to try more Korean kin care products. In fact, I have a few that I want to share
with you.

Just so you know what products I'm going to
be trying out over the next few months. You're gonna have to look forward to my feedback
on these products on my future favorites videos. I do it bi-monthly. So you'll probably see these products there
if I do like it.

I'm looking forward to trying out this one. This is the COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin
Power Essence and then I'm also really excited to try this out but at the same time I am
very nervous because this is an eye cream from a different brand. This is the Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream. I've heard so many good things about this
one.

It looks like that and I'm quite excited to
try this one out. But I'm nervous because like I said before,
whenever I steer away from the THEFACESHOP. Eye cream, I get disappointed. I hope don't get disappointed with this one.

I will let you know my thoughts on this one
on a future video. And then I'm also looking forward to trying
out this one. This is super popular in Korea. This is the COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad.

I'll try it as soon as I can. I'll let you know what I think about this. At the same time, I'm also going to be trying
out the COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch. Once I run out of the Etude House one, I will
use this one for my pimples whenever I get cystic ones..

MY DAILY SKINCARE ROUTINE

It's all about putting your best face forward. Let's do this What's up socials welcome back to Amy TV. I just wanted to have a little bit of a relaxed video with you today, and as usual I'm in the office, but I really didn't put clothes on for you today, so you're welcome. You might remember a few weeks ago I did a camera-ready makeup routine And I could not believe how much you guys loved that one the number of Comments and likes and everything that was going on.

It's so cool that that was helpful for you I'm so glad to help, but that also kind of spun off into another conversation about skin care And how important that that is for you? I take it, so seriously somebody basically scared the pants off of me well That's not true. They didn't scare the pants off of me, but that if you sleep with your makeup on for one night You age yourself eight days. Oh my gosh I do not want to age my face eight days by simply being too lazy to wash my makeup off That is so disgusting But it makes so much sense Because it's really important to give your skin what it needs in order to sort of Rehabilitate itself and come back fresher and better the next day when it's kind of healing From all the crap that you put it through during the day whether it's just environment sunshine Makeup all of the above only some of the above for me I don't interact with the Sun very often So I thought I would walk you through my skincare routine That I do in order to kind of make sure that I always have a fresh canvas to put makeup on or to Go to meetings with everyday feeling my like my best self as often as possible because you can't prevent breakouts They happen when you eat something That's not right or whatever, but if you really do stay in a good flow of taking care of your skin You can usually bounce back from that stuff pretty easily I'm gonna sort of chat with you here the things that I do, but I'm also gonna show you what I'm doing in the bathroom Because I felt like it would just be weird for me to just talk you through it here So I did bring the camera into the bathroom with me for both my nighttime And my morning routine before we dig in make sure you subscribe to this channel and make new videos every Wednesday and Sunday I've been trying to publish them about four or five o'clock Eastern because that's what's worked for me in my daily routines And I'm curious if you are subscribed already if this type of video You know we don't usually do Beauty if you're going to subscribe and you're like Oh, is this a beauty channel, not usually doing Beauty here It's a lot of going after the life you want But I do think wellness plays a role in that so I'm curious to hear if you're an existing subscriber You know do you want to see more of this type of thing in the future? Do you find it useful? Do you think it applies to the conversation that we have I'm really just trying some things out And I would love your feedback in the comments below all right So I'm actually gonna start with the nighttime routine because I think this is the most important for every single person like I said if you do nothing else do a nighttime routine the First product that I use like the moment I go into the bathroom I grab a washcloth and I grab my cleansing balm, and the cleansing balm is from Clinique. It's called take the day off I Think this is gonna answer a lot of questions for people who are like how do you take all of that makeup you put on? Off from the makeup tutorial that we did a little while ago, don't worry I get all of it off It just does such an incredible job of taking all the makeup off it takes my mascara off it takes everything off So I don't even use any of the other oils or anything to remove makeup I use nothing but the cleansing balm And then I will wet that coarse washcloth and really use it to scrape a lot of this stuff off of my face I like to have cream colored washcloths because I want to see the gunk come off my face in real time I want to know if there's anything left at any moment So I'm using every corner of that washcloth to get everything next it's time to actually clean the face now that we broke ground My cleanser is from Kate Somerville It is called the exfolikate cleanser daily foaming wash and again I just sort of rub this all over and really clean as much as I can I'm usually like dunking my head and the sink and like washing everything off in terms of the cleanser or any remaining makeup and then I will grab a clean washcloth to sort of pat dry and check for any additional makeup spots that might still be there but ideally they're gone at this point and I try not to wipe water off of my face because I know my Face needs water it needs moisture, so why not have actual water to sort of set things off So just pat dry so it's not completely bone dry After I wash my face after that I like to do a toner the one I'm showing you here is the Andaluz 1000 roses floral toner and toner is just really gonna help you with pH balance I like to spritz this all over my face all over my decollete and This really has nice ingredients that are gonna refresh and just moisturize And it just feels amazing to do something like this to your face like spritzing something on your face I will make the excuse to do that all the time I'm the girl sitting next to you on the plane spritzing her face.

Okay with an SPF a makeup set and moisturizing spray Three in one and I only had to spritz myself twice. I'm sorry if I got it on you after the toner I want to do an oil that oil is gonna Be really good for my dry skin the one I use is a little bit pricey, but it is so insanely amazing I'm obsessed with this is the Sunday Riley Luna sleeping night oil This is a retinoid oil, so you need to know when you're sort of getting into the retinols and putting that on your face But that's gonna do an amazing job of sort of like Healing the skin overnight to reduce the appearance of pores Wrinkles any aging prevention that happens and also prevent surface redness, which you'll probably notice I deal a lot with I have sort of blood that collects in different places of my face specifically my nose and areas of my cheeks so Nothing really I can do about that But I don't want any additional redness to happen so I really love this oil for that after I put an oil on Curveball I do a little bit of facial massage, and this is great because sometimes we eat things or do things that make Inflammation build up in the body and this can happen in the face And it can get really like puffy and gross and quite frankly that sounds Terrible so I have a little Jade Roller that I bought on Amazon. I'm totally obsessed with it It is an actual jade stone, and it really cools the face and you're really massaging that inflammation out of the face It's gonna promote blood flow skin renewal I usually go in upward motions because no I'm not trying to drag anything down on my face Gravity's doing a good enough job of that and I'll use the small side just to go underneath the eyes Just very carefully you really don't want to do this for more than five or ten minutes I usually don't have the patience to even do that I'll just do it for a couple minutes and be done But make sure that when you are doing this you're not only going in upward motions But then you're going down the neck and moving whatever Inflammation you're trying to get out of your face out of your body completely by sending it down You don't want it to go up toward your head it can probably cause like a headache and bad things happening You're really not sending it anywhere out of your face if it's just going up to your head So really just push it down use that Jade roller to your neck. It's really nice It feels amazing on every area of the face, so yeah, I highly recommend you give this a try I don't recommend traveling with the Jade Roller.

It's just easily breakable I've never taken it anywhere with me, but it's definitely good to have at home next the all-important And oh my gosh everyone needs to do this if absolutely nothing else I cream you'll notice. I'm using the it cosmetics Bye, bye under-eye. This is so important no matter how old you are to use an eye cream You can pick the one you like the best. I love it cosmetics They make the most amazing stuff if you do nothing else if you're in your 20s And you're listening to me right now listen to me right now use eye cream I promise you if you still want to be carded when you're my age You'll be happy used eye cream once or twice a day for your entire life I promise you that I never ever ever ever rub eye cream on because Again the eyes are creeping on their own We do not need swiping motions to help with that so I usually use my ring finger and tap it on just tap it on until it's absorbed and It needs some more time to absorb so now I'm gonna kind of give my skin a two-minute break so that that eye cream can really set in the oil can start to set in and I'm gonna brush my teeth and something I.

Do before I brush my teeth is tongues great. This is probably my new favorite thing in the whole world I'm telling everyone I went to a bachelorette party and everybody ended up buying tongue scrapers after that I left It was kind of hilarious But this is the most amazing thing we have so much Bacteria that sort of sits on the back of our tongue And this scraper you don't have to do it for many times, and you don't have to do it roughly But you just sort of watch this like white phlegm come off of your tongue And is just sitting there always and it's so disgusting and just get that out of your system, and then brush your teeth And you're really Really getting to the bacteria you can't scrape off your tongue when you're brushing your teeth because it's obviously on your teeth so Anyway, I really really love the tongue scraping thing and is a life Changer and I think you're really really gonna Enjoy it if you do decide to pick up that habit because I got been into it And he's just like he loves it. He loves the moisturizer that I'm using as my night cream at the moment is the dr. Dennis gross hyaluronic marine oil-free moisture can and you can actually use this cream twice a day I just happen to be using it as my night cream at this point and its really nice because it does have that hyaluronic acid in it hyaluronic acid if you don't know has the ability to hold an insane Amount of moisture a thousand times its weight in in water is what it can hold one of the last things I do is put a lip sleeping mask on my face and this is from Laneige I don't know how to say it I found it in the Sephora Check out one of those things that they want you to buy before you're really trying to get out of there And I absolutely love it ironically it says to wipe off any excess in the morning I never have excess and that's because I'm in dire need of moisture But I swear to you my lips have been in absolutely incredible condition Since I started using this mask I feel like I don't need lip balm quite as often I'm not drying out quite as often so I highly recommend a lip mask when you're going to sleep And now I'm ready for bed yay Oh my god, this feels so amazing to go to sleep like that so I mean now let's talk about my morning routine I cannot move on with my day without taking care of my face first Literally it is so Important I haven't been cleansing every morning I kind of want a lot of those products that I slept in overnight to continue to work They're really not bad, so I'm not trying to like start completely fresh in the morning but I do need to splash my face and get the gunk out of my eyes cuz that's just disgusting if it is a Cleansing day.

It's an exfoliating day in the morning so twice a week. I will use an exfoliant and that is the Kate, Somerville exfoliate intensive exfoliating treatment And this is basically really Nice for sort of refreshing the skin you're gonna work it in and then leave it on for a couple of minutes and then rinse It off definitely important to be exfoliating on a regular basis, and I absolutely love this for that I'd like to change it up in the morning with my toner and so this time I'm going to use the Aveda botanical kinetics skin toning agent I love this one just because it's so soothing and it smells Incredible so nice little little spritz in the morning after the toner I like to use a serum so my vitamin C. Serum is by dr. Dennis gross.

It's the c+ collagen serum this is gonna do a lot of things it's gonna brighten smooth boosts the skin energy and Anything vitamin C in my opinion just smells amazing, so I'm all about that first thing in the morning guess what's next I cream Back to the it cosmetics bye bye under-eye because always eye cream always and you're gonna need that two-minute break So we're gonna scrape the tongue, which is so incredible in the morning I swear if you were like I hate brushing my teeth which you shouldn't you should always brush your teeth But if you didn't which I always do But if you didn't use that tongue scraper in the morning And I tell you what if you kiss your significant other they will be so much less grossed out by your morning breath so much less Speaking from experience now that all that's taken care of we're gonna do the daily moisturizer I could use what I did overnight But I actually really love and prefer to use the Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion This is just my all-time favorite. My skin just sucks up this moisturizer so fast in it I mean it makes my skin a Totally perfect palette for whatever's next whether it's makeup or a CC cream or something like that But first the all important thing and that is sunscreen here I'm using the RepLennox antioxidant sunscreen moisturizer in SPF 50 plus this stuff is an Amazing sunscreen because it's also a moisturizer it is also Caffeinated with green tea so that's amazing for keeping that skin alive keeping it very supple And I just absolutely love that sort of to top everything else off Fifty-plus always always always always make sure that you have 50-plus SPF. Your face, and now I'm ready for the day probably gonna put makeup on real quick that is my skin care regimen Hopefully you enjoyed it to me again. This is like meditation.

I love to just do these steps every day I feel like I'm taking care of myself I feel like I'm setting my day up for success or setting my sleep up for success and that's another thing Always keep in mind that if you're not getting enough sleep You can't put enough product on your face in the world To prevent the crap that losing sleep causes so make sure you take care of that and I'd love to hear from you What do you do to take care of yourself take care of your skin leave that in the comments below cause I'm always looking for Something new I love to add steps. I do I'm a step girl. I love steps there are people who do skin That's like two steps. I'm not about that.
