My 9 Step Skincare Routine Korean & Clean Beauty

Hi everyone. It's Aileen. Today I want to take you along with me as I do my evening skincare routine. There are about nine steps to my typical skincare
routine.

I don't always use the same products. Sometimes I switch out products here and there, but the steps are generally the same. After spending a long day wearing makeup,
I can't wait to wash it off. First thing, I gotta put on my headband.

Get those bangs out of my face. Whenever I wear makeup, I like to oil cleanse first. Here, I'm using MUNs Akwi Purifying Cleanser. It's just an oil-based cleanser to break down
all of the makeup that's on my face, especially the eyeliner and stuff.

And yes, I am aware that I have eyelash extensions and you're not technically supposed to use
oil-based cleansers because it takes off the glue of your lash extensions. I don't really care because I've had these
extensions for long enough. Honestly, I just like using oil to remove
my eyeliner because, if Im just using a cleanser, I feel like
I'm scrubbing that area for a little too long and I'd rather just break it down in the beginning. Then I'll go in with a second cleanse, and
this is one of my all-time favorite cleansers.

It's just one that I've used for years and
years, and I always feel like I have to repurchase it. Just washing my face off, because oil cleansing
is not enough. I do feel like you have to wash that oil off. And the best feeling is having a clean, freshly-washed
face after wearing makeup for an entire day.

I just love having a bare face. Next, I'm going in with a witch hazel toner. I'm going to put this on a cotton pad. And I kind of consider this my third cleanse.

I like having a cotton pad to just make sure I've got everything off my face. So it's like a toner and last layer of cleanser. Next, I'm going to use this coconut water
toner and I'm going to spray multiple layers onto my face. So this might take a while.

I'm not going to make you watch me spray all these layers, so I'm just going to do
it once on-screen. But just so you know, it just depends on the night. Sometimes I feel like spraying more toner. I'll do up to six or seven layers, and that's
just really helped my skin drink in all that moisture.

Next, I'm going in with this Missha Time Revolution
Essence. I love this, as you can tell. I'm almost done with this bottle. This essence is a dupe of the SK-II essence, so I'm actually going to try that next after
I'm done using this bottle.

But it's made out of fermentedsomething
fermented that I know it helps you rewind the aging of your skin. I'll post a link below for more info, but
here I'm doing two layers of this essence because I just
like to pack on the layers of moisture. My skin is really dry so it really appreciates
the extra layers. After essence is serum, so right now I'm using
this Leaders truffle oil serum.

And this is just one that I'm trying out. I can't say there's anything particularly
amazing about the serum, so I'm basically just using
the bottle until it's done. Alright, now I'm gonna go in with this night
cream by Nudu. And I like using something heavier at night, just to seal in all those layers
of toner and essence.

This is kind of on the oily side, but because my skin is so dry, I don't mind
it. I like that it's heavier and oilier. Next, I'm gonna go in with some eye cream. This one's by Cremorlab, which is a Korean beauty brand.

And eye cream is something that I sometimes
get lazy about. But I realize it's super important as I get
older because that's where your first wrinkles start to form. So I'll put on eye cream under my eyes, and
then the crows feet area, even on my eyelids. And then, if I have any extras, I'll put them
either on my forehead or the smile lines, wrinkles, just to prevent
those aging wrinkles.

Gotta rewind my skin. Lastly, this is like my favorite product out
of the bunch. This is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, and it's essentially like a really thick lip
balm or lip mask that you put on before bed. I love that it just seals in the moisture
on my lips.

It's not like your normal chapstick or anything. It really is amazing. It's something I highly recommend. I love Laneige.

They also have a sleeping mask that I usually
use, but not tonight. And there you have it. That's my typical evening skincare routine
with the products that I'm using right now. But like I mentioned, I always swap out products, so it's constantly changing but the steps
are always the same in that same order.

Alright, have a beautiful day or a beautiful
evening. Love you all so much. Bye!.

MUJI Sensitive Skincare Review + Demo

MUJI is a household retail store, why would I buy their beauty products or skincare products? Why? Hi there, it's your girl, Amber! Welcome back and welcome to my new apartment! Today I want to with you my user experience of MUJI's skincare products especially made for sensitive skin. I got 6 products in total. I got their makeup remover, face soap, toner, moisturizer, all in one essence and a night cream. If you want to see any particular product, you can go to the JUMPSTART section in the description box, I will put the timestamp down below! Before we start, just in case you didn't know, MUJI is a Japanese household retail company.

They make really good furniture and stationary products I've been loving their pens and notebooks since high school. I'm still using them today. I have to be honest with you, when I first saw their beauty section in the stores, I was a little bit skeptical because MUJI is a household retail store, why would I buy their beauty products or skin care products? But I do know they make high-quality products, so I decided to give them a try and here's what I think: The first product I got is this makeup removing oil. Because this is for sensitive skin, the oil is actually plant-based olive oil.

You can tell by the yellowish color it has. It also doesn't have mineral oil, alcohol or fragrance added to it, so I really like it! When I put it on my face, the consistency is definitely on the thicker side. I usually need about two to three pumps to cleanse my whole face. I personally really do not like those removers that would irritate my eyes, so I actually put this guy to test! A couple of times when I'm in the shower, my whole face is covered in makeup and this remover, I open my eyes and nothing happened! This is really soft and gentle on my skin.

One thing I do have to say about this makeup remover is it does great only on a lighter or everyday type of makeup look. When I did those more dramatic, heavy-duty, more pigmented makeup looks, like those ones I posted on my Instagram, this guy just couldn't get rid of my eyeliner or my lipstick! I had to switch to another makeup remover. Overall I think I would give this makeup remover 3 stars out of 5! The next MUJI product I got is this face soap and exfoliator. Again, it has no mineral oil and no alcohol.

When I put it on my skin, it feels very lightweight and comfortable. It has those microbeads in there, so it exfoliates my skin pretty well. It doesn't irritate my skin or give me blemishes at all! It does none of that, it's pretty comfortable! Right after I wash my face, I instantly feel comfortable, clean, my skin is not tense at all! Overall I really like this face wash, and I think I would give it 4 stars out of 5! The next MUJI products I got is this light toning water. This is made from natural mineral water from Japan! It sounds so fancy! Again, it doesn't have mineral oil, no alcohol and no fragrance.

How I usually use it is I dump some on a cotton pad, pad it all over my face and it's done. I remember when I was younger, I got a lot of those toners that had alcohol in them, I didn't know how to choose a proper toner, after I put them on, those toners would just irritate my skin, dry out my skin and make my skin feel so tense... This toner does none of that! It's so comfortable, so lightweight. I really like it! I think I'm going to give it 4 stars out of 5! Next, this all in one essence is by far my favorite MUJI skincare product because this combined 3 skincare steps all into 1! This is substitute for toner, moisturizer and essence.

It's so convenient! I can just throw it on and go to bed at night! It's very comfortable on my skin. When I put it on my skin, it's definitely thicker than other essence I've tried before. You can feel it's feeding the skin all those good stuff. It's so good for your skin, very comfortable! Even if this essence is on the pricey side, it's $410 NTD for 100 grams, a little more expensive, this is such a good multi-purpose product! I really like it! I'm going to give it 5 stars out of 5! Next, I got this moisturizing milk moisturizer.

It's like a tongue twister... I think this is the only product that is not as good as I expected, because don't get me wrong, it has all the good stuff in it, made of natural mineral water, no mineral oil and no alcohol. It's very lightweight and comfortable on my skin, but I think it's a little bit too sticky for daytime use. So I use this MUJI moisturizer at night, and use another one in the morning.

I think I would get this moisturizer 3 stars out of 5! The last MUJI products I got is this moisturizing cream. I really love this little guy! I use it at night as night cream and I usually use about 3 to 4 scoops for my whole face. It actually surprises me when I leave it on overnight, wake up the next morning and not find my skin sticky at all! It actually makes my skin very smooth! It's so good in quality! I do think it's a little bit too hydrating for Taiwan because it's already very humid here, especially in the summertime. So if you live in a drier climate, this is a great one to use! I think I'm going to give this moisturizing cream 4 stars out of 5! That's all of the MUJI products I tried this time! I have to say I am really impressed by the good quality! They are made of natural mineral water, no mineral oil added, no fragrance no alcohol added.

You can feel on your skin that these products are really good! Now I think can say that this household retail store does make some really good skincare products! Among all of them, the all in one essence and night cream are 2 of my favorites! I would definitely recommend those to my friends! That's a wrap for today! If you have tried any MUJI beauty products that you think are good, please let me know in the comments. I would love to try some more! Don't forget to hit the subscribe and bell buttons! I upload new videos every Thursday and I will see you next week! Bye!.

Model Chantel Jeffries' Nighttime Skin Care RoutineGo to Bed With MeHarper's BAZAAR

Hey Guys! Ready to go to bed with me? So I just got back from a crazy day of New York Fashion Week. I got my makeup done earlier. This beautiful Glam You guys know I love my Glam So I have these little hair toggle things that I love and I'm going to put my hair up. Cause I like to save my hairstyles as long
as possible My makeup looks so good that I'mma kinda take it off I wish I can like just sleep like this.

I'm going to use "Take Off The Day" Clinique cleansing wipes I like to kinda do this just to get the majority
of it off before I start cleansing my face so next I'm taking the Clinique's "Take Off The Day" cleansing balm and this you put on your dry skin to dissolve
the rest of your make up. And I like to use it on my eye makeup too,
because it works really well. So this one it starts off as like a solid and then you kinda massage it in. I can feel like all my eye lash glue just dissolving and all the lashes coming off.

There's literally lashes everywhere. Woo Hoo! There's like no eye make up left It got off all my mascara all my false lashes all the glue I want to make sure I purify my skin and to do that I'm going to use Pure Clay mask this is a charcoal mask by L'Oreal and I'm just going to use my finger apply it especially anywhere I think I'll get black heads so I do this about 10 - 15 minutes usually I always like to do Snapchat with the mask
on cause it could never recognize your face and it always does something funny. Like this! I'm going to use this St. Ives Scrub I really like to exfoliate after using a mask because I feel like there's a lot of impurities You can kinda scrub out all the dead skin
away I got a quarter size.

Is that a quarter? No Kinda like to give myself a face massage Right, now to rinse it off. Make a mess Oh my goodness, here we go! Then I'm going to go in and rinse one more time with like pretty cold water just to close up all of my pores I'm going to brush my eyes brows Now to moisturize I'm using this Aerin Rose Night Table Cream It literally spells like roses I love it. Right So now for eyes I'm taking NARS Skin Total Replenishment Eye Cream I'm just going to put a dab on my ring finger If you're like me and had braces which now I have retainers, my lips get really dry because of that I use this Palmer's Cocoa Butter This is one of my secrets of how to get plump lips. Really keeps them moisturized.

I'm about to go to sleep and start all over again tomorrow. Good Night!.

May Highlights, Lessons, Favorites Skincare, Music2018

Hey everyone! How are you doing? It's Aileen of Lavendaire. So today I'm going to do my May highlights,
lessons, and favorites video. And this time I'm going to keep the highlights and lessons section short because I have a lot of favorites. So the highlight  THE highlight  of the month of May was the Taylor Swift Reputation tour.

This was my first time seeing Taylor Swift live and it was one of the best nights of my life. I went with my boyfriend Wilson and I wish
that I went with a group of girlfriends, because I think it would've been 10x more
fun with a bunch of girls singing together. But it was just me, singing at the top of my lungs, dancing, having so much for at her show. And I know I said last time that Beyonce at
Coachella was amazing  which it was  but I think I just enjoy Taylor so much more because I know all of the lyrics to all of her songs, so it was just a blast.

Moving on, one of the lessons I learned this month was from connecting with a lot of different creatives. So I had different shoots
with different people this month. So I had a shoot with my friends at Steezy,
which you'll see that video coming out soon. A shoot with LEAFtv and I just today
came back from a podcast shoot with the director of the Minimalism film, Matt.

I think just collaborating with more creatives
this month and getting to talk to everyone, I realize that when you're working by yourself,
you feel like you're struggling on your own and you're trying so hard to figure things
out, but it's just a struggle in general. But I think connecting with other creatives
reminded me that everybody else out there is just trying to figure it out too. Nobody has all the answers, nobody feels like they have it together and everybody's just trying to do it. And they're just doing their best, putting in the work.

Part of the journey is just learning to figure
it out and embracing the fact that you don't have all the answers and you're
not doing everything completely right. You're really just learning as you go, and so that's what I was just reminded:
that everybody's learning as we go. And the more important thing is not to do
everything right, but it's to just show up. I realize that half of success is showing up.

It's better to be showing up and taking that action than just spending a long time
trying to figure it out in your head, because you're not gonna figure it out by yourself just sitting there without doing anything. You figure it out as you go, and even though
it's not perfect, you somehow find out how to get projects done
and move past it. So basically, embrace the journey, embrace uncertainty, and remember that we're all in this together. We're all doing our best.

We're all figuring it out as we go, and that's totally okay. Alright, moving onto my favorites
from the month of May. I'll start with skincare, then I'll move onto
the digital favorites. So my favorite of the month  these are equally favorite.

So I have an eye cream and this jet lag mask. So I'll show you the eye cream first. This is by the Korean brand Sulwhasoo. Don't know if I pronounced it right at all, but I bought this at the airport
on the way back from Shanghai.

The lady at the counter just told me that
this is their most popular eye cream, because I've been wanting to try out this
Korean brand. It is a little bit more high end. So this eye cream is made of ginseng, which is a root, and it's used a lot in Asian medicines and foods. And I'm a believer of ginseng.

I'm sure it has a lot of benefits, which I'll
list down below with some links. But what I love about this eye cream
is its firm and rich texture. It's just the perfect eye cream texture and
I've been really loving it. So the next skincare favorite is the Summer
Fridays Jet Lag Mask.

I've been trying to get my hands on this product
for a while. It was sold out on Sephora. So it's by Marianna Hewitt and this other
lady that I don't really know. I just follow Marianna, and basically my friend
Karen is Marianna's photographer.

And I went to visit Karen the other day at
her studio, and she's so kind. She had an extra tube and she gave it to me! So I'm so excited to try it. So my favorite thing about this mask is how
nourishing and moisturizing it is. I love thick, moisturizing products.

What I do is: After my entire skincare routine, I will use this mask as kind of like a sleeping
mask, to lock everything in my skin. And then I sleep with it. In the morning, I'll wipe it off or rinse it off. But yeah, loving it.

Alright, next: The TV show that I've been obsessed with for the past couple weeks has been
Terrace House, the new season, because part 2 just came out and I literally
just watched all of it in two days. So it's very good, I just couldn't stop watching it. I really enjoyed it. And I know I've talked about Hyori's Bed & Breakfast
in so many videos.

But just an update for you guys who have started
watching that channel, I've discovered that the Korean version of that show is different from the Netflix version in that, in the Netflix version, they change up the music and they'll cut out some scenes, because those scenes have music in them. So I know that when media
goes out to American audiences, music rights are such an issue so they'll
have to change out the songs. So sometimes in the Korean version, when one of the characters is singing a song, there's a real scene about it. They'll cut that scene out on Netflix and not show it.

I discovered this because we have an app called
RSS Player on iPad where you can watch a lot of Asian dramas and shows. I was just curious to see how the Korean version
was different from the American version, and yeah, the Korean version just has more scenes. And now I feel like if I watch the Netflix version,
I'm missing out on stuff. I'm missing out on some fun scenes.

So just an FYI for you guys out there. My next favorite is also inspired by Hyori, because I saw that they have a bluetooth mic
and were singing karaoke. And you guys know how much I love to sing. If you follow my Instagram, I posted about this, that I just all of a sudden felt like making
a karaoke playlist on YouTube, just putting in my favorite songs to sing on karaoke and just casting it on my TV at home, so that way I could just sing karaoke at home.

And I literally just ordered these bluetooth mics. I ordered two so I could invite people over to sing, and that's just what I'm currently
excited about right now. Lastly are my favorites in music. I kind of just went back to listen to Lana
Del Rey and Amy Winehouse songs.

I love those two artists,
and I was just feeling those vibes. My favorite Lana Del Rey: Born to Die is my favorite song, and it just feels so classic, American. I don't know, I just love her vibes. And Amy Winehouse, my favorite songs
to listen to right now are Stronger Than Me and You Sent me Flying.

Those are my two favorite songs to sing
by Amy of all time. So those are not new songs, but just songs that I've rediscovered and I'm listening to again on my playlist. If you want to hear more of my Spotify playlist, I'll post the link to my current favorite playlist right now. Alright, those are my favorites for the month of May.

And now I want to make an announcement: Starting next week, I'm going to be kicking
off a Dream Life series on this channel, meaning that it's going to be a special series
for the month of June where I'm going to lead you guys though the
path of creating your dream life. It's going to be in a chronological order
thing, starting from clarifying your dream, to planning it, to executing it, and all the
obstacles that you'll face along the way, how to overcome that. And I'll talk more about it when I come out
with the first video next week. But just a heads up to keep an eye out for
the videos coming out next week, and just know that they will be in some sort of order.

So I'll just test out having that theme for
the month of June. And I know it'll be good since a lot of you
are graduating or will graduate soon, so it's going to be an exciting time for everybody. Alright, that's it for now. I'll see you guys soon.

Bye!.

Marianna Hewitt's Nighttime Skin Care RoutineGo To Bed With MeHarper's BAZAAR

When my day is ending, I always try to remove
my makeup before I go to bed. I know sometimes we get super lazy but it's
definitely one of my number one skincare tips. One of my favorite products of all time is
the Is Clinical Cleansing Complex. I have sensitive skin and it's also combination,
so I don't want to use anything that is too drying on my skin.

This is a really gentle cleanser that is going
to remove any makeup. Now that my face is all dry, I really want
to make sure that I remove all the makeup from my skin. So I like to use these cotton pads that I
just ordered on Amazon and a little bit of the Bioderma miscellar water. Apply it over my skin.

Just make sure I got off all of the makeup. Then the times where I might have small breakouts
or I need a little bit of extra help, I love Dr Dennis Gross' Alpha Beta Peel Pads. I prefer to only use this at night and only
at times when my skin really needs it. If I forget these and I'm traveling somewhere
and I don't have them, my skin starts to freak out and it definitely needs them all over
again.

When I'm waiting for the product to work on
my skin, you can feel a slight tingling and coolness. I feel like it makes it feel like it's working. The next step in my routine, I've been using
in my skincare for a few years. This is Shani Darden's Retinol Reform and
this retinol is gentle enough to use on your skin every night.

I've been using it for years. So I use a little bit more than a pea sized
amount and I just rub it into my skin. This is one of those products that you really
do have to keep up in your routine and use all the time, but after a few weeks of using
it--which I know we get super impatient--you can definitely tell the difference in your
skin. So the last product in my nighttime routine
is Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask.

I'm actually the co-founder of Summer Fridays
and I can't believe that I get to use my own skincare product in my nighttime routine. If you can't tell already, I'm such a skincare
junkie so using all these products is so important to me. I'm on the go, it's Fashion Weeks, I'm all
over the world and I'm definitely jetlagged so I needed a product that was going to hydrate
my skin, plump up any fine lines and make sure that I don't look as tired as I feel. So I just like to apply it to the skin and
go to sleep with it on.

This mask is cruelty free, vegan, there's
no parabens, sulfates. There's no synthetic dyes or fragrances. So being an influencer and a blogger, I basically
took all the things that all of my followers and readers wanted to know about skincare
and what was included in products and I dreamed up the ideal product. I used to wear sheet masks on planes, but
I never want to scare people, so I love that with this product, you can really wear it
on the plane and have the skincare benefits without terrifying your neighbors.

And that's it for my nighttime skincare routine. Goodnight!.
