Leomie Anderson's Nighttime Skincare RoutineGo To Bed With MeHarpers BAZAAR

It's time to get unready with me. The first thing that I like to do when I'm getting unready is peel off my lashes. Easy peasy. I like using Simple make up wipes because they're really moist and I feel like they really get off any makeup especially waterproof eyeliner which I've got on right now Don't really have a technique, I'm just trying to get it all of to start.

But then, I know for a fact that makeup wipes don't always get off all your makeup so I like to wash my face. This is my favorite facial wash and it's kind of like an exfoliating facial wash I like it because it's kind of like a natural exfoliant. It makes me feel like I'm getting every inch of my makeup. I'm trying my best to use products that don't have micro beads in them anymore because they're just tiny bits of plastic that are really really bad for the environment I find that this baking soda facial wash is a great alternative.

So now that I've washed my face I like to treat myself especially after a long flight to a sheet mask this one is by a brand called Joanna Vargas. I look like something from a horror movie right now but it feels great. Smells great and especially after a flight sometimes I even use them on the plane. I scare a couple of people but skincare is more important.

I like to use a sheet mask like once a week, I'd say. You keep it on for about 15-20 minutes. Sometimes I leave it on there for a whole episode of Gossip Girl which is about 40 minutes. Don't I look ravishing.

Who is that underneath there? Its refreshed. Rub the additional juice into my skin. Don't really want to swipe it off cause you don't want to get rid of all the extra amazing juice but I just like to pat it into my skin gently and as you can see, I am glowing. My next step is the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum.

I like this because it's so hydrating. Would be great if I could open it but my hands are slippery from the juice. I like to rub it onto my fingers first and then put it onto my face because I think it gets absorbed a lot better when it's at your bodies temperature. And of course, never forget the neck.

When you're old and this is looking fire and the neck is looking all wrinkly and s***. Oh sorry, can't put that in there. Like this, in upward strokes as well. Because if you drag it down it actually stretches the skin and is more likely to give you a little turkey neck.

So always up on the neck. Once I've massaged in my serum I like to use a really light oil. My choice of oil is the Kiehl's Daily Reviving Concentrate because because it's really like and gets absorbed very quickly into the skin. I like to press it into my skin more just because one time some lady did it to me and I felt like "Wow, this is the way forward." This is how you're meant to put it on.

I feel like it really gets absorbed into the pores Spread the shine. Last but not least, you have to moisturize. Sometimes I don't actually like to put to much moisturizer if I feel that my skin is not that dry but because I just had a flight I think that the moire moisture the better. And my choice of moisturizer is always Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream.

So just depending on how dry my skin feels will determine wherever I add the moisturizer on top So that is my nighttime skincare routine ladies and gentlemen and remember Keep glowing!.

KOREAN SKINCARE WHEN FEELING SUPER LAZY

*Unlocking the door* Oh my goodness!! I can't believe I went clubbing until 3 am Oh my god. Be careful Mama Choi and Papa Choi are gonna kill meee...Aaahh *sighs in pain* My feet are killing me *yawns*  I'm so sleepy.... I'm too old for this Okay. I'm gonna go quietly like nothing happened.

\^O^/ *Unnie is sleepy* I should have never taken that shot of makkoli (unfiltered rice wine But, its all good in the hood Okay guys, I'm super drunk and super tired Its all good in the hood #noregrets Even though I'm super, super lazy and super tired and my hair is itchy it doesn't matter at least I gotta wash my face and put some-some on my face Hmm, okay !! So for the days that I am feeling super lazy or I'm super drunk just get some cotton pads and pump it up with cleansing water and make sure I soak everything really well into the cotton pad and just stick it on my face like this And I rub lightly and then wipe-off Rub lightly and then wipe-off. EWW...Gross And then I just rub away very lightly. And i'm done OH-CRAP. I have to be quiet I hope Mama and Papa  Choi don't wake up *Spew* First thing I'm gonna do is lightly splash water on to my face and of course pick my boogers.

Because in the club its nasty, okay? So you all gotta pick your boogers afterward And I'm gonna be using my CNP Laboratory Foaming cleanser for today because I need that extra cleanness to get everything off of my face This helps balance out your skin's pH level and also this has helped me tremendously with my acne so I highly wanna recommend it for those of you with acne prone skin And I'm just gonna take seat because I'm super tired And guys make sure that you bubble up everything on your hands and then put on the bubble Some people make the bubble on their face and that can irritate your skin. So keep that in mind And now I'm gonna thoroughly cleanse my face and especially my hairline too 'cause I'm not gonna take a shower. I'm too lazy right now. And then just splash away with water And after cleansing, I don't wipe my face with a towel.

I'm gonna go directly and use my mist. And here I'm using Laneige Water Bank Mineral Skin Mist I'm not even going to use a cotton pad because my skin is so irritated I'm just gonna splash some mist on. And I always drink a cup of water to get over my--OMG!! IS THIS FOR REAL !! AHH....NO. Did I call my ex-boyfriend 50 times ?!!?! NOO.....Please tell me I didn't do this.

NO... Oh my God Its okay Life goes on. Act like nothing happened. Its all good, I'll be okay the next morning.

*Ahh God* I love drinking but my skin doesn't love it OK, so for times like this that i need an emergency spot treatment all I'm gonna do is cut up my cotton pad into small pieces And then I'm gonna soak it in with my Mandelic Acid 5% Prep Skin Water This is a wonderful trick that you can do when you have a big ass zit. This is an excellent emergency treatment to calm your inflammatory acne and then we are gonna move on to the last step because I'm already tired man. As you could hear from my voice is just cracking up already I'm gonna use Klairs Supple Preparation All Over Lotion on my face Thanks to the alcohol and long hours of partying I have a lot of redness around my nose and cheek area. So i'm just gonna get a thick layer of my All Over Cream (Klairs Supple Preparation All Over Lotion) Now this lotion also has really great hydrating ingredients like beta glucan and ceramide and also its excellent for soothing And by doing this second thick layer, it really helps to sooth and calm that irritated skin ok I've made it I've  come this far I'm just make sure that my zit is getting calm and my zit is getting smaller And for my emergency spot treatment It's better that I leave it on for about 3-4 minutes So i'm just gonna watch one of my favorite YouTubers Elle Mills Dude she is the best guys.

Enough is enough, I'm just gonna...Take that off Oh I had a really long day today Good Night *jk* Y'all know me I totally forgot to take off my lashes okay, GOOD NIGHT..

KOREAN SKINCARE CHANGED MY LIFE! (mostly cosrx tbh)

Hello, welcome back to my youtube channel. I am a very famous youtuber. My name my name is Abe Kim. Also known as Abe's figures or Abe's beauty, you know, I don't really know at this point.

And I believe in the unexpected. That is why I will be taking guys to Myeo- Myeong-frickin-dong. Now I do understand that many people vlog Myeong-Dong. From other YouTube channels To even TV shows.

But on my second episode of my documentary series, I wanted to take you guys on another special journey. A journey, that will challenge you A journey that will strengthen you Not really in stairs, but But in your understanding and knowledge of how Abe's face went from very acne acne, To still also pretty acne, but, a little less. Wow this shot truly represents the products I used to use before coming to Korea. Using Up&Up products from Target to using Korean skincare now.

I'm not hating. I'm just stating a fact. What angers me is, I was actually Lost in the beginning and I refused to use Korean skincare products when I first got here. Disappointed.

I know that if I started earlier, my face would be a lot better than what it is and I would not be saying things like: "hey, don't put the camera like on my face because I'm-" so allow me to take you guys to a store where skin and fashion, but mostly skin is of utmost importance. This store sells CosRx, and I will now share with you my favorite products. Of course number one goes to the centella blemish cream This product is not a really nice product because it will destroy your acne Number two, of course goes to a two-in-one Also known as the two and one Number three goes to the red one, the A-sol Serum. And of course, you must take at least 40 of these patches home Moving on is the this cream every what this cream was called, but it's really good for your pits and Yes of the burst set lotion it is Legit.

Oh Yeah, and *inhumane noises* this one But what kind of beauty guru and beauty channel would I be if I only raved about one brand? So today in This documentary I will be leveling up in my skincare beauty youtuber status as I will not only talk about my favorite brand which is CosRx, But do something a little different. Some say that this is a little too bold for them. But of course for me wait My director is really bad if filming, and getting water all over my camera. But for me, not a chance, as I will be doing something that requires a lot of courage.

Well since it's my last day here I thought what better way to talk about skincare Than my sister? And I wanted to go all out and treat myself. Well with my sister paid for it, So might as well get my skincare treatment of acne stuff, because I never did that in 2 years I was here. I Basically found out it's going to hurt like not like hurt Hurt. I'm so scared.

The start Wasn't that bad? But then We were entering into unknown territories of things We put on my face Honestly, though this part wasn't bad at all. I recommend it, it was super soothing They wiped out all of the bacteria out of your face. I felt really good you were called the entire time like I fell asleep and After this happened I just felt new but this This was where the real pain started. You don't know pain until you've witnessed this And felt excruciating pain She starts in the forehead I promise you and I guarantee by the time she's around your lips Its death.

This should have been the results for my CosRx nose pad. Yeah, but after they sucked the life out of you, they replenish your face. This part felt really good. Not bad Here's a cool shot of serum These two serums really hydrate your face So when she applies it, It feels real nice.

This part definitely hurt a little bit. She was messing with my wrinkles or something That's all I have to say about that Oh, but little did I know that these small needles were about to enter into my face. Look at me. Innocent.

Carefree. A little worried and not knowing This part, okay, no straight up though, but this apartment really hurt. She just, she just goes to town Because my face is not pretty, it just hurts even more Like you have no idea this hurts watching. I remember this *inhumane noises* literally squeezing and inserting needles (J) This is a good way to end it, right? (A) Subscribe..

Korean Skin Care aka WHY DO YOU LOOK SO GOOD

Chai asks: Do most Koreans who have nice skin go to dermatologists? Or do they just have naturally nice skin? And how far does skin whitening go? TLDR please Okay, I've got something to say before we start here [S] Right off the get-go. Okay a lot of people say things, like they'll see k-pop stars in magazines and they're like, 'Oh my god~ their skin is so perfect!' Guys, listen, celebrities around the world, they wear lots of makeup, they have photoshop So do not be fooled. So our focus today is not gonna be on people who have their own personal makeup artist to cover up all their pimples We're gonna be talking about what does the average Korean person do. And what we have noticed is that the average Korean does seem to have rather nice skin We're not talking about people who are like really young, we're talking about people who are young and getting older, like 40s 50s 60s.

Do you remember some of our co-teachers? I remember your co-teacher, you had one of them who said she was like in her mid forties and I'm like, 'You, shut your mouth, you just graduated from high school! There's no way you're in your 40s.' I mean, her skin was amazing and she was just like, 'Oh, I didn't work at it, I didn't do anything.' And she flips her hair all the time and just floats everywhere, and, Screw you! Okay, so in Korea a lot of people do visit the dermatologist. My idea of the dermatologist in Canada was that you only went if you had skin issues. Like if you had major acne, or if you had like moles or something along those lines, like major ones that you had to get fixed- Did you have acne when you were growing up? Oh I had terrible skin when I was growing up. [M] Did you visit a dermatologist? Yeah.

And they're like, 'I dunno, walk it off.' Jerk. But now they have treatments for it, but back in my day I suffered. Oh no. I've never been to a dermatologist before.

No, that's not what I'm saying! I have a mole so I have to keep an eye on it but I don't really know people who went to a dermatologist all the time. But in Korea, its part of your normal kind of schedule to see a dermatologist Yeah, and going to a dermatologist here isn't only for having really bad skin issues, but just for like, regular skin treatments. Mhm, yeah, so like even Suzy has a dermatologist. [S] Right.

And it's so funny, 'cause we asked Suzy, 'Suzy do you know anyone who has a dermatologist in Korea?' She's like, 'Yeah. All my friends. And me.' And I'm like, 'What?' So she says she goes to the dermatologist to actually pop blackheads or pimples Yeah, they'll go there and just like totally get rid of everything you have [M] They'll professionally do it for you. She said like-[S] Professional pimple popper, that's what I wanna be when I grow up mom! Pick me~ Martina always picks at my face.

I'm like, I'm like a monkey grooming my husband. [S] I wake up in the middle of the night with her being like, 'I can get this' So things like getting skin peeling or new facial or popping your pimples or even doing like whitening treatments all that kind of stuff is very normal for the dermatologist. We do want to clarify what we mean by whitening though because it has a totally different connotation here that what you might be thinking. Okay, so a lot of skin products in Korea, and a lot of masks and stuff will say things like, 'This mask is whitening!' Or, 'This skin cream is whitening.' And people who are visiting here will misinterpret that and think that Korean people are trying to bleach their skin or you know like-[S] They're not trying to more Caucasian with this.

This isn't Caucasianifying cream. I think the word whitening is just the wrong English word. [S] Yeah. What they're trying to say is toning.

They're trying to even out your skin tone. So for example, I actually have a green cream that I buy because when I have really rosy red patches underneath my skin I use green cream on it, and then I put bb cream on top of that because it neutralizes the look on my face. So it's not patchy. So Suzy says if you buy something with whitening It's because like, oh maybe my eyes are maybe really kind of bright here, but then this part of my skin might be darker and this part here.

So you use it to try to even it out. More like evenifying rather than whitening. Evenifying right. Because every Korean person-[S] Wait.

Evening. But then they think it's not afternoon. *Baby crying* Hahahayeah Oh Simon. They should just call it 'Tone Evening' or something.

Well, Balancing? Skin Balancing? There needs to be a better word, whitening isn't the word. Okay, Skin Tone Balancing. There you go. Also you go to a dermatologist here for whitening treatments but the whitening they do again isn't to make your skin whiter but to make it brighter and glowier and popier.

So there are treatments for that. Yeah, the glowy and the dewy look in Korea is so big. Like, I'll buy bb cream and to me, personally, it makes my skin look like it's greasy. If you watch Korean dramas you guys might notice that the main actresses will be glistening and to me I'm like whoa, she needs to be powdered down.

No, she's just glowing. Radiance. They've got that like, fresh, dewy look. Another thing that's really interesting about dermatologists is that, from what Suzy told us, a lot of guys go to dermatologists as well for skin treatments.

I don't know a single one of my guy friends that gives a rat's a$$ about what his skin looks like. No cream, no dermatologist, no nothing. So to hear that so many guys here do it is really surprising to me. But I think that's really cool about Korea, because the whole concept of 'metrosexual' the term that we had to make in North America to say, 'Oh he's not gay, he's trying to take care of himself, which is something that gay guys do, and straight guys don't.' It became this big horrible word [S] Yeah no it's like people here take care of themselves.

[M] Definitely. I'm not negligent. [M] There should be an anti-term in North America. You're not 'metrosexual' it's 'I'm not negligent.' People aren't 'metrosexual' just the opposite people are slobs.

'And you look like a donkey's butthole.' Haha, exactly. So speaking of guys using skin cream and stuff. I think the second category of people taking care of themselves in Korea is actually using creams and sunscreen. Sunscreen in North America is so funny, or sunblock? Is there a difference there? Spfs SPFs? [S] Whatever has a high spf.

Yeah, people in Korea will use that, even if they're a dude, you're not gonna get made fun of. But I remember in school we were gonna go on a feild trip and I pulled out my spfs because I did not like my skin getting burnt. People would be like, 'Oh, what a loser, Martina's putting on sunscreen!' I'm like, 'What a loser, my skin will look great when I'm 30!' Look at you now! Who is laughing now! You haggard holes. 'Haggard holes'? I couldn't think of another word after - [M] Poor Hagrid.

Why are you bringing Hagrid into this? No, no haggard! Apologize to Hagrid. I'm sorry Hagrid, you're a handsome devil. The really interesting distinction that you have to make here in Korea is that people here understand that the sun is a death ray machine. It is a death ray [S] It is going to ruin you and your skin and people are aware of that.

They have like sunbrellas they have hats, they cover their arms with sleeves. Here they know, the sun is out to kill you. Yes, that's right. That's the third thing I was actually gonna say.

So you might visit a dermatologist. You might actually use cream to keep your face from like wrinkling and falling apart. And the third thing is, let's say you don't care about any of that stuff You are at least going to protect yourself from the sun [S] Right. [M] using an object You know those arm sleeves you were talking about? [M] Yeah, yeah, everyone has those.

[M] Didn't we do a WTF? Here goes. [M] Woah, it's really tight. [S] It's a pretty snug fit. [M] I really feel like an anime character.

You know how like manga and anime characters have ridiculous costumes that have like armpit free zones? And their like, 'I'm gonna fight for life, 'cause that's what I can do! Shoryuken! Like waaaay long time ago. [S] Yeah the one where it makes your arms cooler if you wave your hands like this. Did you know that we didn't even know that was for like UV protection at the time? Okay, so you'll see old dudes driving a truck, and if the window's open their wearing these sleeves to protect their arm from getting like sun exposure. Fact is we rarely actually see people, now that we're driving around in Korea, with their windows rolled down.

Lot of them have it rolled up and highly tinted. [M] I was gonna say, soo tinted. There are no tinting laws here. [M] No.

So you're looking at a bunch of old dudes who care about sun exposure. And this is why, I really truly believe that Korean people have beautiful skin not just Korean people, other Asian cultures that believe that the sun is a death ray They, protect their skin! So we're gonna talk about this more in our blog post including mole removal which we had done here at the dermatologist. Make sure you click on the link here if you want to read more about it and carry on the conversation there. [M] Okay, so here's my question for you guys; Growing up in North America tanning was kinda like this status symbol thing like, 'I went on vacation, look at my tan.' But in Korea getting a tan is not cool.

I have not actually seen any tanning salons here. I'm sure they exist, I just don't know where. So what's it like in your country? Is getting a tan something that's like acceptable and normal? Or is it the kind of thing where you try to avoid the sun at all costs? Let me hear what it's like in your country. A really interesting comment comment came from tokekiex, who wound up saying, well, they wrote lol, I'm not sure if you're supposed to say 'lol' I believe you are supposed to laugh out loud.

Who wound up saying, 'Hahaha Free stuff in the U.S.? If they could they would charge you for breathing. Yeah. [S] Umm [M] Breathing law, coming soon! Nannonator, which I guess is someone who gives out bananas to people? Has a really cool story about living in California and getting free service at a sushi place. Her and her friend went there after getting dumped, and they'd gone there a lot, and the sushi place already gave out free stuff, and they were there like crying and being upset about being dumped and then the waiter came by and said, 'Poor pretty ladies, here have a free bottle of sake.' Now here's an interesting theory about this, I'm not sure if it's the same for you as it is for us, but every single one of the sushi restaurants that we went to in Toronto were actually run by Korean people.

If it's the same for you, maybe you just got Korean service instead. Ehh? [S] Ahhh [M] Ehhh I don't know if maybe it's the same there, but that's how it is for us. And the last comment we want to talk about is from autumnwind Who, if you remember from our TLDR; I wound up talking about getting free CDs in cereal boxes, and you disagreed. Autumnwind remembers they came from Honey Nut Cheerios, and then people started talking about the AOL CDs You for sure know those AOL online CDs.

[M] Yeah, but I had like an old school mac so I was like, 'Oh my God AOL!' [S] 'AyeeOL' [M] 'AeyO AOwL' What kind of account does GD use? Hahahaha [M] GD @ AOL!.
