My Nighttime Skincare Routine

Hi I'm Darnell Cox with Live Young
lifestyle and today I'm going to go over my nightly skincare routine it is quite
extensive folks I've had the privilege of speaking with the best dermatologist
from around the world and it's a lot different than what is pushed at us with
marketing first of all you do not need to be spending money on face wash this
is FISA derm it's a pH balanced deep clean wash for normal to dry skin every
skin care company will try to sell you a face wash you're washing it off of your
face you do not need to spend a lot of money for that so make sure it just
washes clean now I started I took off my all my eye makeup with this Almay
waterproof eye makeup remover pads I. Love these and the reason is because you
don't need to put your eye makeup remover on one of the other pads you
just use this little thing and because you know over the age of 40 I've spoken
about in some of my previous makeup chair chitchat that you have to be using
waterproof eye makeup so eyeliner mascara all of that needs to be
waterproof because we tend to transfer that with our crepey eyelids or at least
I do and also with all the anti-aging potions that we put on you want to make
sure that your eye makeup sticks I. Always use this clear sonic and just a
simple simple face wash so I'm going to do that now so you guys can really tell
I have no makeup on so I will usually first wash my face
with chips my hands using the FISA term but I then I'd like to go over it to get
a really deep clean with this clear sonic no matter what my day was every
stitch of makeup comes off of my face I. Normally take a shower at night so I'll
wash all the makeup off of my face outside here on the sink and then if you
did not see my youtube video on dry brushing you really need to watch that
because this is a great great anti-aging device and it is so simple helps with
cellulite helps with circulation increases the tone and texture of your
skin and all that every single night then I'll jump in the shower
and most of the products here are not about moisture it is about drying the
skin out I did an interview with dr.

Abadi who I think is the best
dermatologist I've ever interviewed before but he talks a lot about tricking
your skin into producing its own moisture so remember if you're adding a
lot of products on your skin that are moisturizing it from the outside what
you're doing is you're sending signals to those those layers of skin inside
that you have enough moisture and therefore you do not need to make it
yourself and it's not letting your skin behave like it did when it was in his
20s so this first product is by Zoe's skin
health and there are these little tea pads a little bit of a waffle design so
it really gets in there and any makeup that is left it just goes away but you
will also see that there is a drying effect here next this is the growth
factor and I love the design of this because there's no air that touches the
product and a lot of times when products touch oxygen they lose their their
potency this keeps everything really fresh you just do one little pump and it
is like a gel that is good for all skin types it doesn't matter if you have
super super sensitive skin it really Suz I do right up to my eyes even on my
eyelids your entire neck until that's all really absorbed this was bison so
skin health and it's called essential growth factor serum now I move on to the
Big Bang and this is all about retin-a I. Wrote a blog on living lifestyle calm
called retin-a the holy grail to skincare because it is it is the only
thing that has been proven to significantly reduce wrinkles retin-a
was first designed as an acne treatment so again it's something that's supposed
to dry out your skin so this is by xot skin health again this is a 1% it's a
strong stuff I use this with this Miller mix skin lightening and blending cream
so what I would do if I were gonna use this product as I put about it's about
this big and you do the same thing about with the blending cream but you blend it
like this and then it makes it or it will smooth over your face much easier
so I'm not gonna show you this one because this is pretty self-explanatory
you would just blend this all over so I'm gonna wipe this off I also like I
have to say this environ skin is cinchy a is a really strong over-the-counter
retina you need to get this though like in a plastic surgeon's office a lot of
dermatologists sell this go online to environ calm
so the consistency of this is more of a cream so you can blend this by itself a
lot better than some of the thicker retin-a so I'm gonna wipe that off just
because again a self-explanatory just put it all over your face this is what a
prescription retin-a really looks like it's just a you know a white tube with a
label stuck on it and this is a point zero five and this is 0.025 Again I test
my skin out all the time if my skin is like really dry or their Santa Ana winds
I'll go down to the point o2 5 it's still doing something it's still drying
your skin it's still those wrinkles it's still exfoliating
and cell turnover so let me show you how you would use this you put about the
size of a dime on the back of your hand and you would be surprised folks if
you're using the same hand all the time to put the retin-a on before you put it
on your face compare your Pam's after a couple months
and the hand that you use to put the retin-a on to blend it or whatever we'll
end up with a lot less wrinkles so I. Just then take my finger and make little
dots I do not put this on my neck just because your neck does not produce the
same amount of oil as your face does so you know we have sweat glands and
oil-producing glands in certain parts of our body our underarms our feet our
privates our face those will actually secrete oil and our hair which is why
our heritage oily but our neck does not really so if you put the same strength
of retin-a on your neck you're gonna find that it it eats it up like like
battery acid I always rub in a circular motion it
will migrate a little bit so even if you're putting it here along your
jawline I usually put it right along my jawline and underneath the chin once
that's all in and move on to the neck there's three products that I really
love for the neck this is my favorite right now it's by revision skincare it's
called neck to firm these are also in a lot of different plastic surgery offices
I also feel that it kind of plumped the lines up and helps with elasticity and
kind of firms things this one by stryve Acton I also like it's a little it feels
like it's a little bit there's more of an exfoliation involved with this and a
little bit more firming so right now I'm liking this one a little bit better your
neck goes all the way down here so anything your skin is all connected so
if it needs to be firmed you have to start above it and below the area that
you're trying to target so next we're gonna move on to eyes I did write a blog
on live young life style called beauty on a budget if you want to
save money anywhere give up the eye cream and just like I told you put all
your other treatments right underneath your eye you don't you don't really need
I cream but man do I love this one so this is nurse Jamie's EGF eye complex
and this is her beauty stamp it's not just what you put on your face topically
it's stuff that you do to help your skin regenerate and part of that has to do
with creating little micro traumas and I. Talk about this a lot on my youtube
channel and in my blogs drying out your skin and using a retinoid product like
that is creating micro traumas it is exfoliating that outer skin which is
making your your skin underneath to make more cells it's the same thing with
micro needling this is a version of a micro needle that is an ace stamp so
instead of rolling like I had done on that previous video my favorite at-home
treatments this is a stamp that I use every single night so you literally
press this around your eyes now believe it or not I do my eyebrows because micro
needling also helps stimulate hair growth when our skin gets really thin
and crepey around our eyes to do this on a nightly basis is very very good so get
right underneath and I usually do all the way out to the temple all the way
across the eyebrow now I'm gonna get a little red but I want to make sure I
show you and then I follow it with nurse Jamie EGF eye complex which it
moisturizes it deep puffs it helps with dark circles all things good in one
little bottle okay so that is the eye treatment and now we're going to move on
to eyelashes eyebrows there are a lot of over-the-counter eyelash and you know
enhancement serums that you can brush on almost every dermatologist on the planet
will have Latisse and you're basically it comes with like this
you know disposable things because you don't want to go over your eye with the
same little brush now the cheat it is cheaper to do the ones that you can buy
in a beauty supply store I do like revitalash but the only
problem that I have found with those is after like a few weeks I want to throw
it out because what you're doing is you're sticking something back in you
know to the same product and I always worry about about that and and usually
too I use this on my eyebrows so after I.

Have all of this cream stuff on all my
retinas all my potions I'm then putting it on my eyebrows and sticking it back
into the thing do I think revitalash works yes it does right now I like this
one a little bit better so you're just putting a drop you're going right along
your lash line you do not need a lot of this you just barely want them to feel
moist because if you put too much it will go in your eyeball you're wasting
the product and you'll end up with like little fuzzy hairs growing all over your
eye so this is really really concentrated and again I'm not even
touching it to the brush and I'll do the other eye and whatever is leftover I put
right up in my eyebrows if you go underneath your eyebrows with this it
does make a big difference and helps them fill in and bring those eyebrows a
little bit more down to earth which is a more youthful look so the last thing
that you do is if you anti-age from only here up you're missing 90% of your body
so like I said before I shower every night I dry brush but at night I like to
do an exfoliating thing for my body as well you don't want to use a retin-a or
a really strong product on your body so there are two products that I really
like I couldn't get a hold of one before this shoot but it's by the same company
that makes this retin-a it's called environ and it's a dermal AK it helps
with cell turnover it helps with the tone of your skin it's a really great
product so again this environment is a company that I really like but what I'm
using right now that I that I also love is is V germ and this is a glycolic acid
so it it stings a little bit especially if you've drybrushed first
but I always say like if it doesn't hurt if it doesn't sting and if it doesn't
smell bad it's probably not doing anything for your skin you know you have
to be consistent and be patient with this stuff because great skin doesn't
happen overnight it does take time it is effort to wash off your makeup every
night and go through these rituals but you know what you're worth it and that
is a really good way to live young.

MY NIGHT TIME SKIN CARE ROUTINE!

Hi guys! So for today's video I'm gonna be doing a
night time skin care routine. This video was highly requested and I just
wanna start of the video by saying that I. Am no expert in skin care or dermatology or
anything like that. I'm actually trying out a lot of the new products
recently and implementing more regimented skin care routine.

So I'm just gonna be talking about some of
the things that I tried out recently and have liked. Some of the products I have used for years
and have loved recommend. Some of the products I'm still new to and
trying to see if it works out with my skin. So I have already taken off my makeup and
have cleansed my skin.

To take off my makeup, I like to use this. This is the estee lauder advanced micro cleansing
balm but really any of the other cleansing balms will work. It's like a solid like this and you kinda
put it on your face and it melts your makeup away and it's really good for a lot of really
stubborn makeup like mascara or eyeliner and things like that. So I have been using this for a few years
and I really recommend this product.

A lot of the other brands also have this product
in different names and form. Clinique has one and I'm pretty sure a lot
of the drug store brands also have them as well. So I definitely recommend this balm-style
makeup remover. After I remove my makeup, I still use another
cleanser.

The one that I've been using is this Glossier
Milky Jelly Cleanser but I've also used this drunk elephant jelly cleanser as well. This one I keep in the shower and this one
I keep by the sink. So I kinda alternate using both products depending
on where I'm taking off my makeup. After taking off the makeup I use this herbivore
jasmine green tee toner.

So I just spray it into my face. Like this. I think for toners, you can wipe it off. I usually just kinda tap it into my skin.

For me a big plus for skin care items is really
minimizing the steps. So I really like this product because you
can spray it into face. You don't have to get like a cotton ball and
get the product out and put it on your face. It's really to spray it on to your face.

I like this product a lot. It does have a scent to it that you might
not like. It smells a little medicine-y. I don't mind it but you might if you're sensitive
to these types of scents.

So keep that in mind. Again, it's herbivore jasmine green tea balancing
toner. For serums, there are a couple that I've been
using. This one is from Drunk Elephant.

It's called tlc framboos glycolic night serum. It has a combination of AHA and BHA blend. That stands for alpha hydroxy acid and beta
hydroxy acid. I'm using this as part of a trial kit.

This is really small. It came with another night time oil that you
can use but I've been using this mostly. It's really gentle on the skin and it hasn't
irritated my skin at all. So I like it so far.

Another thing I'm using is this dr. Brandt
retinol cream complex serum. I believe this is a time release. So the active ingredient--the retinol is going
to be released over night so I've been using this also...

Also something to note about retinol is...
It does make your skin a little more sensitive to sunlight so you have to wear sunscreen
during the day but you should be doing that anyway so I wear this at night and I wear
sunscreen during the day. After these serums, I use moisturizers. The one that I'm trying is this drunk elephant
lala retro whipped cream moisturizer which is very creamy and it melts into your skin
really nicely. I got these nail tips put in for my vacation
because I don't have to work in the hospital.

If you work in the hospital you can't have
these long nails. I think they look really nice but I've never
realized how hard they make your life... Like putting on creams.. They get stuck under your
nails or whatever but they do look nice.

Another moisturizer that I've used in the
past that I've liked is this Glossier priming moisturizer. It's very light but they do say it's a buildable
hydrating cream so you can use it multiple layers if you feel like you need more hydration. Usually I use it during the day but sometimes
I use it at night and I'll usually double up on the layer. They do have a richer version of this that's
available on their website which I've never tried so I'm not sure if it's going to agree
with my skin.

I do have pretty sensitive skin so if something
is really rich, I do break out or I get red or something like that and this hasn't done
that to my skin so I'm sticking with this one. Last but not least, I use a plain vaseline. I put some Glossier stickers on it. For my lips, I found this to be the most effective
for keeping my lips moisturized and prevent them from cracking.

Basically, this is like the basic night time
skin care routine. I have been trying a few masks, so I'm gonna
talk a little about them. The first one is this one from herbivore blue
tansy. I believe this has a higher concentration
of AHA and BHA.

It's a resurfacing clarify mask. So when you put it on, it does tingle a little
a bit and there is a slight sensation of burning which is normal and you put it on for about
20 to 30 minutes and then you wash it off. As far as resurfacing mask go, I feel like
this one is on the gentler side. There are other mask out there with higher
concentration of AHA/BHA and that can be a little more irritated to your skin.

So I think this is a good beginner resurfacing
mask if you're looking to try. So I picked this up a few weeks ago. I have been trying it a couple times a week
and I like it so far. The next mask I have is this one from farmacy
it's called the honey potion renewing antioxidant hydration mask.

Honey is supposed to be really moisturizing
for your skin, it has a very nice honey-link consistency if you look inside. When you put it in your face it turns into
a white cream and then it warms up a little bit. I used it for the first time after my half
marathon and sometimes in the winter my skin gets really dry. I like it a lot.

This mask is something that I've used over
four years. It's a korean brand and the name is sulwhasoo
and the name of the product is yayunpak and in English it's called overnight vitalizing
mask. It's something you put on at night like a
moisturizing cream but it's an overnight mask that you wash off in the morning. I remember the first time I used it and I
washed it off in the morning my skin felt really different and I really liked it and
it's very gentle, it feels like a moisturizer, it doesn't get sticky, it doesn't tingle,
it doesn't burn, I really really like this product and I've been using it for years and
years.

I do believe it's available in America as
well. That is all the skin care products for my
night time skin care routine. Obviously, I try my best to keep up with a
routine and take care of my skin but I don't always get to perfectly but this is my goal
routine. I try to do the basics every night because
it's really important to care for skin while you're still young so I try to do that and
hopefully it was interesting and or helpful.

Let me know what you guys think. Let me know if you guys have tried out any
of this products or if you guys have any recommendations. I would love to hear about them and read about
them so I will see you in the next video. BYE!!.

MY NIGHT TIME SKIN CARE ROUTINE 2017

Hey guys welcome back to my channel so today, I'm here to bring you a skincare Nighttime routine and by nighttime routine. I literally mean just what I do To remove my makeup to wash my face yeah, I'm just gonna show you basically My skincare routine that I use before I go to bed. It's that easy now, yes, if you're wondering why the quality is probably not that good and I'm looking probably in a weird area And it's the angles weird because I'm filming this on my iPhone, and there's nothing wrong with filming with an iPhone It's good to be real and my authentic self with you guys so I thought it's okay if I don't have my camera here with me right now because an IPhone works just as well Also if you're wondering I mean most of you know that like Lilia Buckinghams one of my best friends And I basically live at her house, so I'm in her bathroom her beautiful bathroom, so yeah I'm just gonna be walking you guys through the steps I do by all means you will not have all of these products only because I. Have a dermatologist because when I was on tour last year I.

Had a dance with a wig over my forehead and that caused a lot of breakouts on my forehead so my skin was reacting and it was getting really intense, and it was like fired up and so I was getting super insecure so I decided to go to a dermatologist and most of these products are from my dermatologist and I used those because they have cleared my skin I have dupes that I'm going to Just show you throughout the video just to show you that there are things that work Just as well the only reason I use these products are because once again I wanted my skin to be clear, but there are other products I've used before that I recommend that are a lot cheaper as well and that you can find at like a drugstore that Will be great for your skin without further ado, let's just get on to this video So I first start out by taking whatever makeup of that I had on that day, so I use Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towels towelettes these Makeup wipes. A lot of people use these but I recommend them 100% they don't have a super intense scent so they won't make your skin break out They're very light and gentle on your face, and they're honestly worth buying because they do the job right they get all of your makeup off And they're honestly just really gentle on your skin. Now you can tell I just took off my makeup with those wipes But something I've learned is that your makeup will never fully be off with just a makeup Wipe you'll still have residue some dirt, which is gross But true and just a little bit of leftover mascara Let's just say so I take this amazing micellar water Micellar Micellar cleansing water I know you say it. This is from Garnier.

You can get this at Rite Aid Walgreens any drugstore, and it's honestly so amazing All-in-one removes makeup cleanses and refreshes your skin and all you have to do is you just take this with some cotton pads so I just take this I damp it in the little cotton pad and I. Just go and remove the makeup And As you can see there's a little bit of dirt left over which is gross But I want to show you guys that it works And there are still leftover residue on your face that you don't realize you have moving on Next I will move on to my face wash. I am not gonna show you what face.. I'm not gonna show you what face wash I use only because it's from the dermatologist And I have a feeling that no one's gonna use it just a face wash that I recommend is the Cetaphil or Cetaphil I'm not really sure how to pronounce it.

It might be Cetaphil. I don't know, but this is what it looks like right here It's just a nice face wash. I personally think that this face wash is amazing because it cleans your skin, it's Not one that will give you a breakout. It's very gentle and light, and it doesn't have a fragrance I feel like face washes that have that perfume-y like fragrance kind of smell to them Usually has a little bit of chemical or scents that break my skin out So I think it's super important to like care for your skin and to really pay attention to what ingredients and what Certain products are in them if that makes sense moving on to toner Okay, so this is also from my dermatologist, but I'm going to show you guys anyways.

This is a topical cleanser there's a little bit of witch hazel in it and a little bit of alcohol and a toner is basically meant to just Really get into the skin I think it's supposed to minimize the appearance of pores I believe and it's also good to just get rid of any texture or pimples that might be coming onto your skin I. Personally think that adding this toner into my skin care Adding this toner into my skincare routine has definitely made such a big difference I feel like my skin is a lot better when I use this toner. Here's another toner that I. Recommend that I think is super good for your skin Honestly all toners.

I'm sure have the same purpose and they can do the same thing But I personally love the one I use. So I just take this with those cotton pads. I showed you earlier, and I just Apply that all around to my problem areas I don't apply it to my whole entire face only because sometimes it can be a little drying, and yeah, that's basically What I use for my toner Next this is not a necessary step to your skincare routine, but if you have pimples or you get breakouts I. Recommend this so much my dermatologist recommended this to me, but you can get it at a Pharmacy you have to go over the counter to get it like my mom got it for me, but it's just this right here.

Hello Hi I'm filming a YouTube video I put this on my problem areas as well It's just a gel to prevent acne to clear up problem areas, and I really think this works And by the way I didn't pronounce the name Because I don't want to say it wrong. I don't want people to call me out for it This is really important to me if you guys Don't need it. If you don't want to use it. I totally understand I'm just showing you what I do.

Next for moisturizer I have two moisturizers that I've been going back and forth with they're both on the pricey side but I think a moisturizer is one of the most important steps in my facial routine only because I. Hate having dry skin and having that moisture back into your skin after putting the toner and putting that that peroxide gel It's very important to have moisturized base for your skin first I'm going to show you the two moisturizers that I've been using a lot And then I'm going to show you one that I use that's also super inexpensive So the first one is this Tatcha the silk cream if you guys watched my holiday makeup tutorial you will see that I'm obsessed with this like you don't understand how good it is. It's weightless anti-aging and a rich silk extract for normal to dry skin the other one is I'm gonna lie really expensive And if you can't get this I totally understand my mom gave this to me as a present So that's I wouldn't have it if I just like got it myself, but this is the la mer Moisturizer so this looks like that smells luxurious it smells amazing I also really recommend this like if you were to spend your money on something I. Recommend these two moisturizers like if you're going to get a high-end something if you're willing to spend your money on a moisturizer These two oh my god.

They are so amazing so tonight as you can see I was using the la mer one just because How is it the mood to use that one I've been using that one Recently a little more than the other just because I don't know why but I really enjoy it and it's so nice on my skin a Moisturizer that I really recommend, that's also so amazing is the Clinique Moisturizer it's the one it's like an iconic one that I think everyone knows about it's in a yellow tube And I also use that one as well Just as much They are so amazing and it is a lot cheaper than the Tatcha and La mer one so if you're looking for that I totally recommend the Clinique one to Moisturize my lips I use the Smiths rosebud Little thing I love this it smells like rose obviously oh It's I just literally put it to the camera thinking you guys were going to smell it,  I'm an idiot. Oh my god It smells amazing and it's so moisturizing for the lips I love it so much and Lastly something that I use I don't use it every night but when I. Do have a blemish or blemishes because I do get a lot of blemishes you guys just don't see. Its the Mario Budescu ah Skincare drying lotion, this is an iconic Thing I feel like for me and my friends I know this is kind of gross But I recommend popping her pimple first and then putting the drying cream on top and then going to bed when you wake up It's flat So you won't have a textured bump on your skin.

I really think this works, so well, and you can find it at Urban Outfitters So it's really nice and that guys really concludes my skincare routine I know a lot of you have been asking me to do this, and I know you probably found it not as helpful or kind of boring, but I did want to show it to you guys and I Understand that some of these products were a little pricey, but promise me I don't just buy them just to have them my skincare is one of the most important things to be spending money on because I really cherish My skin, and I want it to be great, and I get really insecure if I don't have perfect skin I also realized that I'm a teenager and every teenager gets blemishes and goes through Different times with their skin my skins up and down all the time, but for the most part I'm lucky to have the skin I do have if you guys found this helpful at all Just let me know I will also link the products in the description below just so you guys can Find them if you want to get them or order then comment down below What products that you use or you are going to try now because you watch this video, so yeah? Thank you guys so much for watching. Have a good rest of your day or night or wherever you are And yeah, good bye.

My Korean Skin Care Routine

[Intro music playing] Hello everyone, it is Melody and I am coming
at you live from [music plays] you already know! So today we will be talking about skincare. All things having to do with my skin care
routine. Honestly, I was putting my products, ya know
gathering them all for this video, I had no idea how many Korean products I use and this
basically is like a Korean skin care routine. I had no idea until I look at them all together
just how infused these Korean products have become into my routine.

So, yeah, kind of cool. Anyways, let's just go ahead and jump right
into it. The first thing I do every night before I
go to bed is take my make up off. Now before I came here, I used to use Dove
soap and it would kind of like cleanse my skin and removed my make up, all in one.

But, I found that it's really drying, especially
on my eye lids which is like really random. But my eyelids would get really really dry
so now I use this product: the Rice Water Brightening Light Cleansing Oil from The Face
Shop. I really like this product because like it
says, it's really light. It is an oil though, which is something different
for me.

Back home I never used an oil to like, do
anything in my make up, so using this, getting used to it at first, was a little bit, uh,
it was different. But now that it's like apart of my routine,
I really like it because it gets off all the make up, especially, like the mascara, which
is the one thing that I'm like massaging it over my eyes to get the mascara out. And it smells really nice, it's like a nice
clean scent, not really overwhelming or anything like that. So that's the first thing I use and after
I take some warm water and I rinse that off, ya know as best as you can because oil and
water doesn't really mix very well.

So to completely get the make up and oil off,
I follow it up with the mango seed cleansing foam and it is also from The Face Shop. Now this is actually a face cleanser that
I got for free. So when you go to a Korean, like, skin care
store, like make up store, and you buy stuff you always get like a "service" product. "Service" is basically something free with
every purchase.

And this was given to me for free after I
purchased something, I don't even remember what I purchased and yeah, I ended up really,
really liking this and it gets all the oil off, the residue from the make up, everything. It just leaves my skin feeling really clean
but not tight, ya know. So it doesn't feel like I can't smile or like
if I smile my face is just going to like crack or something. It feels clean but also moisturized.

So, love this! Now after all my make up is done, I go onto
my next step, and that is Lush. Guys, I love Lush, so much. I fell in love with them in February when
I went home for a visit. My best friend she was using Lush - the one
from my best friend tag.

And [she was] ranting and raving about how
it's like all natural and everything like that and I was like "Yo, I need to check this
out!" So I went to Lush and I basically, absolutely fell in love. The only thing I don't love are those prices! But, it's okay, totally worth it. So, the next thing in my skin care routine
is: Dark Angels. It is a face and body cleanser.

Dark Angels is really good for removing dark
spots on your face. It's a scrub, but it's like a gentle enough
exfoliate that if you want you can use it everyday. I tend to do it maybe..Two, how many times? I tend to do it maybe 3 to 4 times a week. And I just, uh, I put it on my face and I
kind of use it as an exfoliate, one, and as a mask.

So, I will put it on my face, ya know, rub
a dub dub, and I will leave it on my face for maybe 10 minutes until it all is dry. And then I will go ahead and get warm water
and rinse it off. And for me, it just leaves me skin feeling
really really refreshed. The only thing about this product is the residue.

When you're trying to rinse it off, if you
have some remaining oil on your face from something else you did - like, uh, maybe if
I'm taking my make up off and I have some remaining oil from the oil cleanser, it sticks
to that and it's hard to get off. So, that is one thing with the Dark Angels,
it doesn't rinse off very smoothly. So, yeah, keep that in mind. Now, after the Dark Angels, step 3, depending
how my skin is feeling.

If it needs a little extra TLC, I then will
go to my mask. Now this is like a mask that's made to be
a mask. It is from Innisfree. It is the Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask and
I love it, I love love love this product.

You put it on your face for 10 minutes and
for me, what I've found is the important part is to only put it on for 10 minutes. Anything else, I feel like it dries your skin
out but if you do what it says, 10 minutes, and rinse it off, your skin feels tingle-y,
and clean, and refreshed and your pores feel like tighter. I have really oily skin, I tend to be super
duper oily so this kind of combats that and I also have really large pores, so this is
just overall a really really good product for me. So once my skin is just feeling luxurious,
it's time for the toner.

So, before I came to Korea, I did not use
a toner, ever really. Now, I use a toner. It is the Real Squeeze Aloe Vera Toner from
Nature Republic. Now, Nature Republic is a Korea [skin] store,
that pride itself on being, like, nature based, ya know.

And I really, really like this toner. It doesn't leave my skin feeling super duper
oily, which is a problem that I have with a lot of Korean products. I already have oily skin so their products
tend to be too moisturizing for me but this toner, kind of just feels refreshing. Again, I guess that's a theme of things I
like, something that, it just feels refreshing, it feels good on my skin just to pat it in.

I use one squirt and just pat it into my face. Um, just distributing it around my face and
then I will let it sink into my skin. Yeah, so, toner, new thing but I really like
it. So, after that, we go onto the final moisturizing
step and this is a product that I use only when it starts to get cold here in Korea because
my skin is drier and it needs more moisture.

During summer and spring I use something different
but right now, what I use is Nature Republic's Real Squeeze Aloe Vera Cream. Now the toner and the cream are like a set,
ya know, they kind of go together. So they compliment each other really really
well. Something interesting about the cream is that
it's actually in gel form, which I thought was pretty cool and it kind of feels like
you're literally like squeezing aloe vera straight from a plant and putting it on your
face.

And it's really, really moisturizing and it
doesn't leave a residue. I don't know about you but I cannot stand
when I put a product on my skin and I can like feel it still on my hands after I put
it on and then I can like feel it on my face. I really, really don't like that and that
is why I love this cream because I don't get that feeling with it. So when I wake up the next morning, my skin
just feels really really moisturized, which I appreciate, especially when it's cold outside
or like winter, ya know, and my skin needs that extra moisture, this is awesome.

Alright guys, so that is my skin care routine,
that is what I do, every night. In the morning, I just cut out the Dark Angels,
and the mask, and the oil because I have no make up on my skin so it's really just the
Mango Seed and then I go right into the Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer and I
love it because it has SPF 15 in it and my mom has like drilled into my head ever since
I was young, "always put sun screen on your face, it's very important to protect your
skin." So, yeah, I love this because it has that
SPF in it. Alright guys, so that is it, that is my skincare
routine, this is what I do on the daily here in Korea. Yeah that's just, ya know, what I do.
